She had with her a Metatron's Cube charm, which she felt was protective and slept with it from that point on. She put on a strong-smelling perfume before bed, in the hopes that it might dissuade or confuse a would-be alien intruder. She stayed on the phone with me while she slept for the remaining time she was in that motel. And she changed motels about a week later. There were no further incidents.

When she got back to Texas, she went back to her custom of using Dragon's blood soap and as far as I know she is alien-free.
