I’m Not a Doctor But I Play One at Town Hall Meetings

During the recent town hall meeting of House member Lee (she is the one who used her cell phone during the question & answer session) a lady identifes herself as doctor (a general practitioner) at about 40 seconds in the vid on the pages below. She voices her support of health care reform.

The only problem is - she isn't a doctor.

However, she was an Obama campaign volunteer and delegate.

I'm not saying the Administration or Rep. Lee was involved. However, this is a clear misrepresentation purely for the sake of pushing the reform by this lady.

Both sides are guilty (I think) of things like this. It leaves the people caught in the middle and not knowing who to trust. Can't trust the left, can't trust the right, and now can't tell who is a plant and who isn't at these meetings.

Haven't they learned anything from the Insurance/Drug/Republican about placing plants? The Democrats and their media whores have been railing about it, you'd think they would have been taking notes.

Maybe she stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night prior.

Obama surrounds himself with charlatans,cheats, and liars. Where is the change we can believe in?

That's probably not the Sheila Jackson Lee that he knows. With all the questionable people that Obama has been around, he's either lying or totally clueless about what goes on around him. I guess his new name could be "Gardener in Chief?"

You sound very partisan. Like there is some real difference between the parties but those superficial ones that keep us divided, conquered, and busy pointing fingers at each other rather than joining against the real source of the issues.

The media "whore" for whoever is in power.

I was being sarcastic about the pro-healthcare plants being obvious after the media played up the protesters being plants and astroturf. I consider myself Indpendent for the most part. I agree and support with Ron Paul and his ideas on things.

Ok so first we have the pro HC reform side claiming the anti side is busing in people to Town Hall meetings. Then we have staged Town Hall meetings where staffers lie to the people about the location/time/date of the meetings to stop the anti crowd from attending. The we have invite only town hall meetings. Then we have a little girl shamelessly used by her mother as a political tool. When it’s gotten worse….

Now we have a paid Obama staffer who was his Texas Delegate going to a Town Hall meeting in a district that she doesn’t live in an claiming that she is a GP and that as a physician she doesn’t see why people are upset because

She also claims she did it to give the cause more credibility. Ok so it’s now ok to lie in support of HC reform? How about committing a felony? Well that’s what she did, in Texas it’s against the law to represent yourself as a Doctor or Physician, so she lied and committed a crime for the cause.

Not only that but Obama’s campaign offices are using Graigslist to recruit paid individuals to be bussed to Town Hall meetings in support of HC reform. Want to make $500 a week, sign up. Of course I think you should ask to be paid in silver.

It’s a sad day in American politics when these tactics become common place, when people are willing to shaft there fellow Americans for a measly 20 pieces of silver, or so that they can belong to the “in” crowd. Read the bill then decide. I’ve read it and I think it’s not anything like what they claim it will be, which makes me think they have a second bill hidden away to swap out at the last second after everyone is done going over this one.

I give up these people make me sad and depressed. It’s time to make an appointment with the consular office and rescind my citizenship, because I’m tired of trying to save this country from the greedy and the dishonest. I don’t give America more than a few years left. To be honest I’m not even sure there is enough of the constitution left to salvage. The country of my youth is dead, the infection has spread too far and it doesn’t matter which party is running the show.

In all fairness he can't know everyone who works for him and he may not have asked her to do this. if he is smart he has cut outs so it can't be traced back to his request (if he did)

That was only an initial draft of the slogan. The final copy read "Chains we can count on". It's just that nobody announced the revision.
