You're right, it is very similar.

I wonder if we're all just barking up the wrong tree?

I just can't figure out why they wouldn't cover these ships up somehow, if they in fact, ARE spaceships. Wouldn't they have a big tarp or something? Couldn't they borrow a few parachutes from other Army dudes and cover them up real quick before they take them out in public view?

I don't know but I hope more comes out about this case.

Well if you think about it, if they are uncovered then in the public's view they couldn't possibly be flying saucers. If they covered it up people would have assumed there was something to hide. They don't have to cover it up, it creates more doubt than to throw a tarp over it. People would see something covered coming out of a crash site and you know what they would assume.

I read also that there were calls made to a radio station, and the caller was put on the air live, I am not sure how true it is, but the station was then told not to air the call again, and the audio was removed from where ever it was posted.

Nobody seemed to get to the bottom of that part as far as I know, or even if it was true, but the talk was that the call to the station had people driving down to the highway to see for themselves, then nothing was heard again?

Can any one update on that information?

The bullet must leave the muzzle before the smoke leaves the gun! I think someone just pulled the trigger. They attempted to cover it up but a picture is worth a 1000 words and we have 2! Not to mention the eye witnesses and the radio show afterward. There has to be a copy of that audio somewhere!

Finally a good UFO case to discuss, it has been so long!

I have been contacted by an investigator from MUFON's rapid response team. I have a meeting with them tonight.

Yes, but they could cover them after and the people seeing them would not know what was under the covers.

Its just as easy not to cover them up and everyone will think they are something else. Sure it looks like a UFO but it's not because it isn't covered. That sounds like a pretty effective method to me. It would cause disagreements like this as well. Plus a wide load truck with a police escort and an object that everyone can obviously tell is saucer shaped under a tarp would be a dead giveaway. It was really better not to hide it at all.

If I can tell a corvette under a tarp from a mile away wouldn't a saucer be just as easy to identify. Its obviously not a piece of concrete piping! Just saying.

Edit: I would like to add that in order to put a tarp on it they would have to tie it down to the bed of the truck. The saucer obviously extends beyond the width of the trailer. When they tie it down the tarp would reveal not only the shape of the top but the shape of the bottom as well. It would be so completely obvious!

I looked at some photos of wind turbines, and I did not see one part of them that even came close to resembling those photos. Since this occurred just after dark, I have to wonder if they were waiting to transport this thing under the cover of night.

....wind turbines needinga police escort? that is a lot more unbelievable than aliens imho.
that video in russia is pretty cut and dry. the only question is, is it terrestrial or et?
...or venus?

edit: in canada, when they have oversized loads, all there is is a truck witha light on the top of it. I'm talkin' like when they move houses. And this happens down one lane highways.

They just had to use something wider than the "disk".

If they used two long structures in front and at the back of the "disk" they could cover everything and it would have the shape of the structures in front and behind the "disk".

And to use this post as a double answer, most of the wide cargo movements are made during the night to avoid traffic jams, those trucks are using two lanes instead of one.

PS: as you can see I am not conviced this was a UFO.

Does anyone know which direction the flatbed was traveling? The joint naval air reserve base is in west Fort Worth (that is the old 'Carswell' of Roswell fame).

Interstate 20 it the major hwy running through south Arlington and the hwy you would take to get to the base.

Would people please stop with the, "it aint a ufo cause it wasnt coverd theory" geesh. open your eyes and look at the pics and videos. dont maximize the youtube videos, it just blurs it even more. im not %100 conviced that it was a UFO, but with all the attention that popped up with it right as it was happinin, id like to think that somthing real is going on here.

And as far as the videos from russia, wow, but i dont know what they are. Id like to think they had a ufo or two. but what are the odds of getting 2 ufo's at once. Although it couldnt have been a ufo cause it wasnt tarped. lol

OK.
It's not a UFO because it's not flying, is that better.

Well, well, well. You guys won't believe this. I just finished my meeting with the MUFON investigators. They called and talked to the general manager of 97.9 The Beat, and he said that "nothing happened". I said "what do you mean? what did they say?" He said the manager denied that there were ever any calls made to the station.
What we need is witnesses on I-20 that saw it and called in, and ANYONE who heard the broadcast. The investigators are desparate for people that heard the calls. They have no idea what is in the photos, but it is not like anything they've seen before.
How do we find these people? I sent a u2u to the OP of the original post
"landing on i20", because he heard the broadcast. Hopefully he will u2u me soon so I can ask him to call the # they gave me.
FYI, one of the guys drove up from Houston just to investigate this, so let's not drop the ball. Are you guys with me?

I would think if it was an escorted UFO, they'd also have helicopters and other air support, but who knows.

It makes me wonder if it was just a movie being filmed and this was a scene. THe YouTube russian one w/fake voice overlay makes me think this is part of their viral marketing and the movie is going to have that hand held video feel; like blair witch. The twitter posts and pictures as well. That's some incredible free marketing, not to mention all the word of mouth. There are many movies that have been filmed in Dallas. I did research to see if I could find anything, but couldn't.

The radio station is located in the Valley View mall off Highway 635 & Preston. I wonder if someone went there, if they would be able to get a replay directly from them?

What somone needs to do is find out who the DJ was on the air at the time of the incedent. Then wait for him to get off work and corner him/her up outside and ask about the calls. never know, he/she might have an off the record answer, and maybe a name? hint hint. start your tracking theories there.

Another thought... this could be a transport of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter manufactored from the Lockheed Martin Plant in Mansfield, TX. Mansfield is south of Arlington, Tx and connects to I20 from 5 miles away on HWY 287.

The dooms people reported could be them testing it and going sonic.

The below picture almost looks like one with the wings removed for shipment.
