There's actually a big difference, and I'm gobsmacked that you have the temerity to even bring up an intellectual application that your posts thus so far have been void of.

From what you've been posting, I can assume you don't understand the meaning of the word 'guess':
A guess is the presumption or conclusion based on non-existent or insufficient data. eg. I am thinking of a number between 1 and 10. What is the number? um........7?

Analysis in which your "Scientific Method" could fall under is the following:
The stated findings upon separation and determination of data, based on observation.

To wit: the obaservation by certain members here that the video evidence indicated the following as already stated by Sam60:

*No intelligent or controlled movement....

*Appear to be drifting.....

*Orange(ish) colour....

*Flickering....

*Grow fainter & fainter & disappear one by one...

Conclusion:Lanterns

What "Scientific Method" have you applied to show that they are not Chinese lanterns????

Also, why would I have to prove they aren't lanterns, when I never made the claim that they were not lanterns in the first place? I already said, I could care less.

Hey, you should take every piece of evidence with a grain of salt.

There is a good chance those were not out of the ordinary. Heck, Venus gets more UFO calls to local law enforcement agencies than UFOs do!

This is not conclusive, but interesting. You are getting really psyched. Cool, but remember not to get too caught up in the excitement.

You'll thank yourself for it later.

Well ... I must say in this guy's defense. I also have seen ufos in my lifetime. I've had about 6 personal ufo sightings and possibly a 7th that is an unknown but I cannot call it a definite so I will just stick with 6 since at least 6 of them definitely were unidentifiable flying objects with a luminescent glow to them. I spotted those craft over LakeWorth, TX, ... which is actually close to Dublin,TX. Dublin is where 200 witnesses would see similar ufos to these about 2 weeks to 1 month after my own personal sightings that I had witnessed.

I personally have seen ufos that looked very very similar if not identical to these ufos shown in the vid. There was one major difference though. The ufos I had spotted actually would go from being a luminescent dot to stretching out into a streak of light. The also had a property about them that seemed as if they were strobing. At one point the craft even seemed to lower in the sky and come closer and they appeared to become larger and the flickering / strobing seemed to speed up and then they went back upward a bit and became smaller once again. I am inclined to believe this guy simply because of my own personal experiences and the fact that what he has in the vid looks very very similar to what I had personally seen as well.

Good video. Most of the night videos you get of unidentified flying objects are blurry and shaky. I am not convinced they are "spaceships" or anything like that...but on the other hand I am not convinced they are chinese lanterns either.

More those that are still attackng fully sick, are the ones now still in costume.
