How Jewish Is Hollywood?

The article is very interesting indeed! I have been aware for sometime that apparently the top brass in Hollywood seems to be predominantly Jews. Many of the major studios in Los Angeles where started by Jewish immigrants in the 30's when they couldn't make a buck in New York and entertainment opportunities began to wane.

Ethnic groups looking out for their own like the Irish, Polish, African Americans, etc. have always been a part of America. It is like running the family business, for instance, a father retires and turns it over to the son and other relatives. It's just people looking out for their own and filling positions with in the company with people they feel comfortable around. It's very similar to patronage in political circles. It may seem unfair, but it is the nature of the world. It is no different than when the Anglo/Protestants used to run the show with their own and made it difficult for Irish Catholics, Jews, Eastern Europeans, and other minorities to fully integrated into everyday society.

I see the roles of Jews in Hollywood as a success story that should be lauded not shunned. You can't fault anyone for finding a niche and thriving in it. Their history has been one of isolation and persecution and to see such a small group make it so successful in the circles of entertainment is feat of epic proportions and the pinnacle of what the American dream is all about.

Maybe it started with Goldwyn, Mayer etc. and spread from there.
It's not an antisemitic comment to observe that Jews do exceedingly like to help each other in business.

Anyway, it may have something to do with the power to spread information. Newspapers, once also a very "Jewish" domain, are no longer the main outlet of spreading info, movies are. (It doesn't have to be accurate, mind you.)

I think the questions in the OP are legitimate and interesting.

That very well may be the case. If it is that simple, then "success story" doesn't accurately describe the enourmous success. I have had a couple pms since creating the thread that have shown there to be more Jewish influence over other industry sectors as well.

In any case I just would hate to see any sort of discrimination against those that are not of that particular faith. Like someone more talented being passed up someoen with less talent but shares the same religious views.

And to re-iterate, those of the jewish faith that have made it big in acting all deserve it from what I have seen. Most of them are very funny comedians, and i have no problem with any of them...

It is the management that seems to be overly disproportionate...

And apparently this is not a characteristic unique to Hollywood...

I would say at the best they have to be doing something right culturally and on the other hand, at the worst, there may be something going on that is very wrong...

The Committee on Un-American Activities investigated communist infiltration of the
motion picture industry in 1947. Actor Larry Parks confessed that he had been a
member of a secret Communist Party Cell in Hollywood whose task was to insert Marxist themes into the movies. He revealed that Jewish actor John Garfield was also a member of this cell.

The studios were forced to " blacklist " Garfleld who never appeared in another film. Still the dark forces which control Hollywood also banned Parks. Later the infamous
"Hollywood Ten" film writers were sentenced to prison for contempt of Congress. They had refused to answer questions about their pro-communist propaganda work. Nine of the ten were Jews.

John Wayne organized a group of Christian actors to fight against the Red stranglehold over Hollywood in support of the House Committee. Wayne formed the " Motion Picture Alliance for The Preservation of Amerlcan Ideals." He was joined by Hedda Hopper and Charles Coburn (who became a leading member of the Mississippi White Citizens Councils). Other members included actors Ward Bond, Robert Taylor and Adolphe Menjou. What happens when non-Jews buy a film company? The Jews maintain control because it is "The Deal" in Hollywood which brings in the BIG MONEY! Buying the film story,

November 16, 1989, the Japanese Sony Corp. bought Columbia Pictures and Tri-Star
films. They immediately agreed to pay the all-time record sum of half-a-billion to two

The Jewish Hollywood moguls long ago decided that it would help them make more money if the general public viewed films as being "Christian." In fact, they personally wanted to blend in with the Gentile community. Thus Samuel Goldfish changed his name to Goldwyn and Cecil B. de Mille insisted that he was a Gentile until his death when a Rabbi officiated at his funeral. Every single one of the original Jewish developers of the movie industry divorced their Jewish wives and married beautiful Christian starlets.

Movies, television and other platforms of media affect and influence a population greatly, so you can see, having it all in the hands of the )ews is very detrimental to a healthy civilisation.

I saw "Jew watch.com" as well. But I hesitated to use it for a source because it didn't seem unbiased. And if you go to the site you can see the long list they have there....

The list includes names like Robin Williams and how he has played many "Jewish" roles. That doesnt seem like a very fair tactic...people who play Jewish roles???

So anyway, its a good post, and I don't know of anyway to verify the information or expose it as propganda...
