Union Thugs Turn Town Halls Violent

theundergroundconservative.wordpress.com

Several hundred people, mostly opponents, wound up outside or packing a hallway leading into the meeting room. Some scuffled with members of the sponsoring groups who manned the doorway.

One man who said he was injured and intended to file a police complaint, Randy Arthur of Oldsmar, was outside the meeting room with his wife, Kathy Arthur, when organizers tried to close the doors.

She said he was slammed against a wall. He later talked to police officers, his knit shirt ripped and a few scratches visible on his chest.

Video: www.liveleak.com...

Just as many here at ATS predicted, these union thugs are turning violent. This man was attacked apparently while handing out "don't tread on me" flags. Its a clear example of this MSM anti-protester hate mongering turning in to physical violence. I wonder if Chris Mathews will cover this?

Why are we allowing this to happen?

I find it quite hilarious that the Dems have been calling the protesters an unruly mob and anarchists and the only reports of violence are from the supporters of the Obama healthcare reform bill.

Too bad Obama didn't get the chance to organize his civilian defense force yet. The Obama brownshirts really could have been effective cracking the skulls of the mob.

The unions have been a socialist infiltrated leftist organization for decades. In that respect their utilization isn't surprising.

Now is the time to call on all decent and thoughtful Union members to defy this nonsense and let dissent occur without this insanity. This is simply no place for Union involvement.

I don't see your point since I get all those perks without being in a union.

Look, at one time unions were relevant and needed but today like most large and old organizations, they have become corrupt and no longer needed.

I think this crowd deserves to be clubbed, tazed and gassed!

Now you just have to figure out which crowd I mean...

Actually... since health care prices are part of union negotiations and part of the compensations packages... I'd say hes... the Unions definitely have a part in this just as much as the people who fear change.

Exactly.

Your employer doesn't want you running off and joining/forming a Union, so they offer you benefits.

If you are unable to form the connection between the existence of Unions and the benefits you currently enjoy - so be it.

But since you are not in a Union, you do not have much guarantee those benefits will be there for very long.

*You can be told to take a pay cut or quit. Those benefits can be revoked. That would not happen if you were in a Union.

No, they offer benefits to get and keep the best people. They also use benefits as an incentive so they can offer less in wages.

People are NOT fearing this just because it's 'change'. People are fearing it because it's BAD legislation! They fear it because it gives the government way to much control over people's lives. If this was good legislation which would actually reform the current system, people would be for it. However, since it's nothing but a fascist government take over of healthcare, people are against it.

The guy was on Fox today giving his side of the story.

CAVUTO: All right- Ken, can you tell me what happened?

GLADNEY Well, let’s see. Let’s start from the beginning- about- about 8:30- 8:45, we were- I was setting up actually to pass out the ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ flags. A priest’s wife- she walked up to me and I was kind of showing her some of the merchandise that we had- that I had there at the time. And this guy- he walked up to me and said, who in the- you know, who in the blank is selling this blank here. And I said, sir, this is my merchandise, and- you know, would you like a flag or something like that? And he was like, what kind of ‘N’ are you to be giving out this kind of stuff here? And he snatched the- the button board. And when he snatched the button board, I snatched it back from him, and that’s when he proceeded to hit me in my face. After that, another member of his organization ran up, and he starts hitting me in my face as well. I fell to the floor. And another guy from the organization- a tall guy- a Caucasian- he began to grab me by my collar- by my neck, and he hit me in my face on the left side and knocked me back to the floor. And that’s when a woman started kicking me in the back of my head and in my back-

You have it completely backwards pal. That discussion was turned into a circus by the conservative rabble rousers who showed up to disrupt discourse. You know...discourse? Look it up in the dictionary if you must.
