Of the last three days in Liverpool, UK, I have noticed and almost unprescedented level of police numbers in and around our city, is there anyone else
in the UK nooticing the same sudden change in police visibility. Can anyone provide information to why or what is going on. If anyone outside the UK,
sees this, in the so called civilised countries, i would love to hear from you.
I saw a single police car today. That's one more than I usually see. I don't think you have anything to worry about. We always hear things like this
but nothing ever comes from it.
Start worrying when something actually happens. Until then, just relax or you'll make yourself go crazy.
The other month in Plymouth it was a beautiful weekend and I visited a few pubs in various places in the city I am familiar with, places I used to
live etc.
I was surprised by the amount of uniforms just breezing through one door of a pub, looking at everyone and usually leaving... Plenty of marked
vehicles too and some plain clothes guys sticking out a mile.
I just put it down to a high visibility approach to the weather and to detour petty thefts and drunken violence, maybe drug dealing.
I didn't see many problems, they were looking into some stuff going missing out of a CoOp's shelves when I went in for smokes... That guy either
had some great mates or they were doing a real number on him! I heard most of the description and his name while I was in the Q... and then one of
the staff chimed in and said we always watch you lot when you come in here - Your banned!
But I think it was mainly more hi viz deterrent, loads of people having a good time and not watching out for them selves - loads of tourists.
