As I undestand his story-it goes something like this: In 1995, Michael Marcum stole 6 electrical transformers from his local power company in an
effort to create an electrical discharge effect called the "jacob's ladder." (think old Frankenstein movies) Upon beginning his experiment he
fired a Compact Disck laser between the two conducting rods to instigate the initial spark to begin the ladder when he noticed a strange shimmer in
the air above the experiment. He cautiously tossed a screw into the shimmering field and watched it dissapear only to later reappear laying
stationary on his table. He believes he may have stumbled upon the same electro-magnetic effect allegedly observed during what would be latter known
as the "Philadelphia Experiment." Further experiements resulted in local brown outs and power outages. Upon investigation, he was arrested with a
felony count of theft. After his release from prison Michael related his story to Art Bell of "CoastToCoast" during an interview which aired on
April 18, 1995.
Where is Michael Marcum now? I can't find anything else out about this man. During his interview with Art he said he would continue his experiments.
Were they fruitful?
