These would be fully autonomous killing machines reminiscent of those depicted in the "Terminator" films.

"The next thing that's coming, and this is what really scares me, are armed autonomous robots," said Prof Sharkey speaking to journalists in London. "The robot will do the killing itself. This will make decision making faster and allow one person to control many robots. A single soldier could initiate a large scale attack from the air and the ground.

The military is the enemy. They are killing civilian by the droves, and pathetic couch bound US citizens say,

"well, good fer them, those boys can be home for dinner"

As a war vet, I'm appalled by the cowardness.

I say to any active military, grow some balls and quit.

You are being led of the cliff. Soon, they will have your rounding up your aunt and uncle at gunpoint, and because of proper brainwashing, you will do it, or face the consequences.

Don't accept the tattoo.

Critics correctly find many problems with this program, most of all the number of civilian casualties the strikes have incurred. Sourcing on civilian deaths is weak and the numbers are often exaggerated, but more than 600 civilians are likely to have died from the attacks. That number suggests that for every militant killed, 10 or so civilians also died.

For every insurgent dead, 10 innocent civilians die, and we accept this cowardly act??

60 drone hits kill 14 al-Qaeda men, 687 civilians

Friday, April 10, 2009

By Amir Mir

LAHORE: Of the 60 cross-border predator strikes carried out by the Afghanistan-based American drones in Pakistan between January 14, 2006 and April 8, 2009, only 10 were able to hit their actual targets, killing 14 wanted al-Qaeda leaders, besides perishing 687 innocent Pakistani civilians. The success percentage of the US predator strikes thus comes to not more than six per cent.
