Photo - Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate (political fraud)

It's a fake. Because:

1. Says "Republic of Kenya" but is dated February 1964. Kenya did not become a republic until 12 December 1964. Ooops.

2. The document is dated 5 August 1964 -- a Saturday. From what I can find, Kenyan guvmint offices close early on Friday and are closed on Saturdays. Oooops.

3. And did you notice the document file number at the top of the page? 47,044. Obama is 47 years old and is the 44th president.

4. Check out the name on the certificate, Signature of Registrar: E. F. Lavender. E. F. Lavender is a common soap in Kenya. Heh, heh.

5. This piece of paper certainly looks nice and new to be 45 years old -- unless the Kenyans were using acid-free paper back in 1964. Heh, heh.

6. Finally, Officials of Coast Province General Hospital reported: “We do not have computerized records going back to the 1960’s and can only sort through our archives by hand,” Dr. Christopher Mwanga, an administrator at the Mombasa hospital tells GLOBE. “We have searched for all the names of babies born on Aug. 4, 1961, and have not found the name of Barack Hussein Obama. That is all I can tell you.”

Nice job on the photo shoped certificates here. This doesn't really prove anything and I agree with the posters before me that stated this thread at least is dead. I also have grave issues that the only person on the planet capable of filing a lawsuit are Keys and a weird Russian woman? Something doesn't add up there. And "Birther"? Who came up with that label??? LOL That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard! I may disagree with many on these boards but you have my word that I will never call anyone a "Birther" or a "Truther". LOL man that cracks me up.

Obviously it can be faked, that’s why more investigation is needed.

But your argument that because you can fake something then it has to be faked is ridiculous, I can make a scan of a fake passport right now, doesn’t mean all passports are fake.

So everything has been faked except the one thing you think hasn't been faked. Tell me... how many Kenyan birth certificates from the 60s have you seen? And on that note, how many poorly scanned copies of 60s Kenyan birth certificates have you seen? Considering you're an expert on this, inquiring minds would like to know.

If you compare them side by side you can tell the one that was posted on this page the name doesn't follow the creases in the paper, he used a letter in his name to cover up the crease. Where on the one posted in the OP Obama's fathers name follows the crease.

I KNEW someone would say that, or the pixelization doesn't match. Which is why I specifically said it took 15 minutes. If I spent 2 or 3 hours on it, as if I actually wanted to fool people gullible enough to believe it rather than just use it to prove a point, I can guarantee you that you couldn't tell the difference.

Want to pull out the double standard line then I see?

I know most people on this thread have repeatedly said, the only way to verify this is a legitimate copy is to go look in the Registry of Births in Kenya and look up the page number to see if it exists.

Even though it's a joke, it still points out the obvious hypocrisy people want to throw around.

That's a Registry of Birth. From the quick reading I did on Kenyan law, people born outside of Kenya can have their birth registered, if they are a citizen of Kenya. Also, Kenyans can have duel citizenship until the age of 21. Also, a child becomes a citizen of Kenya if their father is.

Obama's father = citizen of Kenya = duel citizenship under Kenyan law = Registry of Birth.

If I'm wrong, please correct me. But I believe this basically ends the controversy, as long as people actually read it.

For all the conspiracy nuts out there you may want to think twice about this deal. The Attorney that filed suit Orly Taitz, went to college in Israel. Now there is a twist. How many attorney's you know that challenge a President repeatedly that went to school in Israel, the place where Obama is demanding changes from.

This pic is faked and not just one name on it but every word on it. Seems to be the source for all of the others posted due to it being the clearest copy.

The document doesn’t have that date on it, it says the Registration date of 5 August 1961, not 1964. And it’s the registration date, which can be done on any day. Mine is registered on a Sunday, but Irish government is not open on a Sunday.

I didn't say this debate didn't matter or was silly -- sorry if you gained that impression. It's obvious how much energy people are devoting here to their belief, or their need to believe that this document is genuine. Just as there are those who deny it's genuine. And both sides believe they have the bit between their teeth now and are on the final stretch to victory.

That is correct in that a person born outside of Kenya can get their birth registered in Kenya, but on a registration of birth it also lists place of Birth. This one in question lists his place of birth at the hospital in Kenya.

The pixelation though could be due to the digital compression. I don't know if it is a fake or not, the only way to prove that this is an actual copy is to go to the registry of births.

Then the fact that in Hawaii at the time all you needed was somewhere to claim residency in the state to get a COLB, and it seems like in Kenya all you needed was one of your parents to be a Kenyan, British or whatever, citizen to register the birth there.

So now we have a big problem, which one is the real deal. I agree with another poster in this thread. Both sides should gather up all the evidence from both sides and it should be presented.

Hey mods, maybe an idea for a debate? Who would debate it though?

evil and committed great atrocities...I fail to see how being a well spoken, charismatic individual has anything to do with being a great , or even GOOD president.

Have you even been paying attention to what hes been doing to our nation since hes been in office? Its an atrocity to our nation and the very ground our nation was founded on.....Like i said before, I didnt agree with Bush on A LOT of things he did, and the last 2 years of his term, i didnt agree with ANYTHING he did.

Him being an "affable, well spoken, charismatic" person has NOTHING to do with his character as a man.......I can be a very charismatic, likeable person to , when theres something that i want........
