Is anyone else bothered by the amount of people on this website that don't double-check their typing mistakes?

It isn't hard to read over anything you've typed up, and I know you're excited to get your info out there, but it only takes a few minutes to check.

We all know that the smallest typo can make the biggest difference in the point you're trying to get off.

Perhaps typos are the NWO's way of keeping everything under the blanket until it's time for them to come out of the closet.

Honestly, people: Go over your work. Make sure everything makes sense.

There are countless threads/posts on this site where the author of a good point could mean multiple different things.

Are you working for the NWO? Are you meant to keep us questioning until it's SHTF time?

This is a serious thread.

EDIT: Use the Edit button. It works wonders.

I thought the largest conspiracy was the whole 10 hot dogs/8 buns thing.

But spelling is ok also.

Oh, don't even get me started on the hot dog conspiracy. =P

Honestly though, on this website of all place, correct spelling should be a priority.

From time to time, people will make a typo. There, their, they're can be the biggest thing if someone isn't paying attention. A few mistakes can be overlooked. But, I will say, and maybe it's just me, but I take someone's work less seriously if it's loaded with errors [unless I know that someone's first language isn't English]. There is no excuse for a native English speakers making tons of mistakes!

I don't think that there is a NWO conspiracy in typographical errors though.

What about grammar?

People make mistakes universally (i.e. everyone).

Isn't looking past mistakes considered a virtuous act?

Sure feels virtuous to me.

Considering we come from a wide variety of backgrounds and considering that alot of members don't use English as their first language, I don't see the point in being the being the grammar police.

As far as I am concerned so long as the point comes across, who cares what the spelling is.

Turns out spelling is not THAT important …

If seen this before, but it’s still quite interesting … Can you read this? Just don’t try reading it letter by letter …

haff u ever knotised websights mispel things alot? i wunder why they dunt.

to the OP, mostly it's people who don't use their/there your/you're properly. it's mostly black people and english as a second language people that talk like that. black people hate whites so much that they will never speak our language but they sure love it when our architects design those nifty kfc's and church's chicken huts. the english language will change when enough people start talking like that. they'll just change the dictionary and to quote george carlin;

"the iq slips another few points and the next thing you know all you need to get into college is a f#*&$n pencil.

hi welcome to physics, got a pencil? good get the frig in there!"

all in all it can be a little much to get bent over. i do personally get bothered when people say your instead of you're ALL THE TIME. however i couldn't care less about saying whom instead of who and participles and saying helpfull and stuff like that. i dunno go figure.

no it's not a joke, people sound really stupid when they talk with consistent bad grammar. you probably won't understand that so just move along.

Look, I understand why people may sound stupid.

The fact is that this site is accessed by people from the world over.

How can you give a person credit for good grammar when another person might have just as great a story to tell but lacks the knowledge to do so in the spelling department.

How would you react if someone started posting in another language?

Think about it.

Yeah I agree, you can't just expect everybody to know English in and out. That's just not going to happen.

People come from all over, and just because they can't spell doesn't make their stories or opinions any less valid.

It's just intolerence on your part friend.

The brain has been proven to process a few letters per word while reading otherwise we would not be able to read fluently.

That is why people who are very fussy with spelling can still understand what the person is writing if it is riddled with errors.

As long as people have a basic understanding of spelling there is no major problem when it comes to communication.

When it comes to speaking that is different in some cases but I think people are just being fussy with this, to even consider it a conspiracy is a joke to be honest.

I don't like it, that's why I use google's spell check before posting. And now, mysteriously, my Google toolbar has vanished. Conspiracy?

I think there are far more serious things in life that we should worry about than spelling errors. Especially in our day and age. This forum is not an English class but rather a place where people from all over the world can share their observations and their finding's. That is what counts!

you're all right, but the thing is that it IS annoying. don't ask me why but it just bugs me to see people using your instead of you're. is it just a general sign of degredation or is it just teh english language evolving? i don't know but it does make you sound stupid whether you like it or not.

let me give you some examples of why i think this is a racially motivated process against whites. barring some immigrants that really don't speak the language that well.

i have had several hindu friends and i've tried to learn a few sentences in hindi just to say here and there.

kya pa qua hay - what the hell did you say
me tomsey bahoot pyar kharta hoon - i love you more than all the world
book luggi hey - i'm hungry

blah blah just stuff like that. now, whenver you make mistakes in pronounciation when speaking another language they laugh at you or look at you like they have no friggin clue what you're saying.

same thing with mexicans, they will correct you when you try to speak spanish. not all of them of course but a lot of times they will.

but now when it comes to white people's language everyone acts like it doesn't matter because it's just white people and since white people know they're the greatest race in the universe then no one cares about them. the last half was sarcasm but that's the attitude that is reversed back at white people more often than not.

now comes the blacks with their slang talk. there are many different varieties of black talk just like there is white talk but blacks will by and large go out of their way to not speak white, act white, or do anything white at all.

so you can sit here and say it's not important but i know different. the differences in the way we use english exposes racial tensions.

For some of us there is spell checker. It is funny that Reptilian does not get underlined, but Barack Obama does.

I also think many people who post here are from Europe and other areas of the world. English is a second language, so spelling and grammar errors may occur.

BTW, who eats hot dogs and sausages with buns? I just use regular bread, or one can buy the jumbo dogs. They come in eight to a pack.
