I can remember spending over two thousand dollars for an 8 bit trs80 with 16k memory. And the graphics were amazing. But seriously who is going to spend over a hundred dollars for a game title? Maybe if the game continuously updated itself so you never had to buy another one. Bad Cop 1 would automatically update itself to Bad Cop2 when it was released etc.

I can get sony playstation games for £7 in the UK trade in stores so I am not worried. If they want to bring each game to that level of price they may as well shut down their business because no one will buy them at that price.

Never will happen unless microsoft and Nintendo goes along with it and raises their prices.

Suicide if they do it alone.

Nintendo for sure will never release games at that price.....Us Americans and the Japanese won't pay that much as consistantly and therefore they will sell less titles and because of that they will release less for having less money and in turn keep selling less..

I doubt X-box would do that also.....3rd party companies will become to new go to for games and take a bigger piece of the pie away from large companies and they aren't really willing to risk that....

Whoever owns these consoles will be going out to buy the brand new machines when they come out so i wouldn't buy anymore games as they won't be playable on the new games machines.....

btw $110 is way too much for a game.... we in England have always been overpriced to you Americans anyway.... this doesn't really come as any big surprise

No problem. This just perpetuates the issue of piracy. Make it more $$$ and inevitably people will just figure out cheaper methods to stick it back to greedy corporations. I'm all for companies making a buck but I'm also for those who can shove it right back up their proverbial asses as well when the consumer gets the short end.
