Looks to me like the contrail of a jetliner stuck in a holding pattern. In fact, I see the contrails of at least two jetliners which had to circle around in that area. Anyone else agree?

I agree except it wasn't really "stuck" very long. One racetrack pattern then a 360 to exit the pattern.

Number 30... wow, to me it looks like the ice has been broken all the way from the top of the photo, down to where the huge circle is sitting?

Really cool photos.

Fascinating stuff, I notice also the tie-up with Google for some of the images. Perhaps Google has the images ready for Google Earth and maybe we could Zoom in on them at Google.

Those are some beautiful pictures!

One question though:
How come some of the pics have spots on them that look like a PhotoShop brush was used? Perhaps the burn or clone tool.

The following images stood out the most:

Image 5: Right side just above and just below middle.
Also to the left and up a bit of the darkest part of the volcano cloud.

Image 6: Lower right corner, 2 spots.

Image 12: Lower left where contrail goes off screen, and right side just below middle.

Image 13: Right side just below middle, and upper left area a spot and a smear.

Image 16: Upper left area and obvious smear.

Image 17: Right side just above and below the upper island of the river 2 spots.

I'm not trying to say they covered up UFO's or anything, just wondering why they would edit the images if thats what that is.
