This is a very important news.

33 percent of cases asymptomatic
---------------------------------
The Ministry of Health (MINSA) revealed that 33 percent of people
infected with influenza (H1N1) [influenza pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus]
are asymptomatic, that is, they present no symptoms of the disease.

MINSA's director general of epidemiology, Jose Bolarte, said that of
the cases of infection reported so far, 37 percent show some of the
symptoms related to the common cold, such as nasal congestion, sore
throat, headache, and even body aches. Nevertheless, there is no
fever, or at least not the high fever characteristic of influenza
(H1N1), which is higher than 39 deg C [102.2 deg F] and requires
immediate medical care.

I remember reading about 2 months ago in the New York times about this.
I've found the article.

Published: May 12, 2009

Many people suffering from swine influenza, even those who are severely ill, do not have fever, an odd feature of the new virus that could increase the difficulty of controlling the epidemic, said a leading American infectious-disease expert who examined cases in Mexico last week.

...

But about a third of the patients at two hospitals in Mexico City where the American expert, Dr. Richard P. Wenzel, consulted for four days last week had no fever when screened, he said.

Since everybody is looking for fever as a way of detect H1N1 I believe we all should be a lot more carefull.

Hope this help!

No fever to help kill it off. Maybe when you get sick you need to induce one.
A certain drug called hcyosamine will cause your body temp to rise.
I have taken it and I know that lovely side effect well. (no fun)

It gives you a fever for 12 hours until it wears off.

Hmm. To me that would indicate that it is not triggering an immune response.
And fever is what traditionally kills bacteria and virus. Not sure what this means overall.

If this is the case then the probability of me already having it has gone up. I was sick for almost a month when this crap first hit the area. So were my kids. We just figured it was either the flu, or strep because we all had sore throats. Never went to the doctor. Mine was so bad I didn't eat for a couple of days because my throat was that sore. No fever, but sick as a dog.
Oh well...if I did have it, no sense in getting vaccinated...I've already got immunities built up.

It's gonna affect everyone differently.
The other day at break, we were chattin' about swine flu. It's kind of unrelated but he said he did get sars or whatever a couple years ago. Another guy he worked with got sick with it, and he did too. Both worked through it...never woulda known, he said, until he got checked out cause the other guy got checked out cause he got sicker.
It's all in the diet and exercise I think.
Also, coulda been a total bs story on his part, i dunno.

Like I wonder, as a smoker, if my lungs would get bad or would i notice? I heard it hits the lungs pretty badly, this pigflu.
To me it seems if the horribly mutated pigflus kill people, they'd also have less of a chance being whisked around unbeknownst to the carrier.

You can take this at least two ways.

1. Therfore figures for those infected are even higher than people think
2. More people can now say they've had flu when they haven't

Got quite a few friends and family back in Glasgow, Scotland who have just been or are currently very ill, none of them reports a fever.
Also where I live, Bournemouth, again more friends and work colleagues off sick at this time of year than normal, none of them have a fever either.
I've had a sore throat and bad congestion for about a week and am a bit achey but I wasn't putting it down to the flu. I take colliodal silver, vit C & D and eat as much fruit and vege as I can from my garden. Been really phlegmy and was wondering whether the silver was getting rid of something.

What about everyone else?

In various detoxification threads I have written I mention the use of the Dry Sauna in daily life for reasons of getting heavy metals out of your system, disease, skin circulation and waste elimination.

My first experience in a Sweat lodge was 20 years ago and I can NOT stress enough it's VITAL Role in disease elimination or How Western Medicine has eliminated super heating of the body which is the ONLY Single method that can cure virtually any disease.

The Human Body is a collective Organism comprised of Billions of Cells which can survive as a whole what individual Organisms, Viruses, bacteria, Fungi and Parasites can not.

The Fever is the Natural method of disease elimination and should Never be avoided

Western medicine has rejected this in our time because of the risk of heat stroke which is virtually a non entity if you adapt slowly do it regularly and do not "shock" your system by attempting to raise your body temperature suddenly with no practice.

There are a wide variety of diseases and bacteria and parasites which will infect you, this "swine flu" is far from the only germ or hang on organism that knows how to "trick" your immune system slowly degrading your life over time and aging you

Likewise elimination of poisons and heavy metals and other substances that can ONLY be removed via your skin simply will not happen and build up over time actually ALLOWING opportunistic diseases to flourish in those toxic zones.

This flu doesn't cause a Fever

Then you must arrange to super heat your body,

both during the time period when infection is possible and If you should contract the illness.

I would recommend that you all make the sweat lodge ritual a part of your life in near daily practice regardless of circumstances if you wish to be disease free.

I use a simple Dry Sauna at my local Gym

This is due to the time restraints in my life...

180 degrees for 15 minute sessions creating a body temp of around 104 105 for close to an hr

The other way would be wet sauna 102-106 same temp in a sweat lodge in fact but you need longer duration for your body temperature to rise high enough internally

If you can not do this, your alternative is to a couple of times a week sleep for several hours with 4-5 Heavy duty blankets

Drenching blankets is sweat of course requires allot of washing and again our modern lives don't like this kind of time consumption

On the rare occasions I have gotten a germ based disease, I always go directly to sleep with the blankets method and am usually fine within 24-48 hrs with no medical attention or antibiotics, medicine or supplements.

I would add as a side note

You probably will not even know if you get this Flu

There is a reason it is mild, it is not designed to kill you, or does not do so by design except in some people.

My concern as to the results of this Virus is actually...

Sterilization

I would take fever inducement very seriously.

Very concerning to me, if its able to be invisible, therefore harder to detect, then anyone unaware can be infected.

Great find, and thanks for the info.

-Traveler-291

ps, anyone know of a possible herb or natural way of curing it?

I may have had it but was not tested. Used oil of oregano (not for small children or pets!) 5 drops in half a glass of water 5x a day. By the end of second day it was gone.

For really young children or infants black elderberry extract might be safe, but you better research it! Have not personally used black elderberry.

A lot of us had strange flu/chest cold things happen in the past few months and we had a SUB TEMPERATURE for a few days before getting the usual 101/102 temp. Of course we were never tested for swine flu because they weren't doing that except for extreme cases.

I agree my family also got that nasty head/chest thing and it was nasty, I we felt like we had water on our lungs.

We only went to the doctor (my husband and me) because the sinus infection we got after.

This stuff lasted well over a month after the initial symptoms.

I dont understand what the big problem is??? A flu bug that doesnt affect you much is a bad thing how???? I've had lots of those in the past. As long as your immune system is healthy you'll be fine. The only reason I can see that the swine flu is so scary is because a long time ago it killed a lot of people. What type of flu hasn't? I just dont get the big deal about this one.

I don't either but people are getting caught up on the propaganda that has been launched against the people and no only the US but globally.

What many seems to forget is that the H1N1 means profits for big pharma in the way of vaccines.

So how can they get people to line up for their vaccine if is not with fear mongering.

My son has had a cold and some weird symptoms and he went to the dr, the dr. never did any tests for this type of flu, then he went to the hospital and THEY didnt pay any attention to his flu like symptoms either. They said something about not being able to give him anything it had to work its way out of the system. Then, the dr, blamed his air conditioner.

It makes me wonder if there is any flu out there at all---YET. The bottled stuff hasnt been thrown off a bridge yet, i guess.

You got that right! IT is getting down right crazy with all this "you need to get immunized or you will die" bit. NO thanks!! Now immunizations to big nasty things like polio and what not is another story, im all for them. Seriously though, for the flu?? I have to be honest every time I have recieved a flu shot and had my children get the flu shot, WE GOT THE FLU!!! If not then, with in 6 weeks. Dr's say "yea, but it's not as bad of a case as you would have gotten with out the shot" PLEASE!! I stopped the shots a long time ago and I had one son get the flu 1 time. It was one hell of a case of the flu too but the Dr.'s wouldnt wouldnt test him because it was a month early of the flu season.
they then had a big outbreak of the flu here and the hospitals were filled. They later told me his symptoms led them to believe that he was their first flu case of the year
ya think??? Anyway I will stop my rampage while I can haha. Point being, we have dont much better with out flu shots than we ever did with being immunized. People are just money hungry.

So how are we supposed to know if we have it? I guess if you feel bad you could be sick. How can we determine if this is allergies or the swine flu?

I'm pretty sure that I had H1N1 in March. That was before it had been announced, so I didn't even know to be worried. But one of my friends had it and it started spreading. Everyone was getting it. And everyone was becoming very ill, even people who don't usually get sick (like me.)

The first day I noticed something was two days after hugging my friend who was almost recovered. I had a cough. That was it. I felt fine, but my throat was itching. I got some couch drops and went about my business.

The second day my cough got worse. I continued to go about my business. I felt fine though, and even expected to be over it by the next day, because usually this sort of thing is just allergies.

The third day I was exhausted. I felt like I could hardly move. I couldn't hardly eat anything. My temperature went up to about 100-101. I got little pustules all over (sorry TMI.)

I had that temperature for a little over a week. During which time I felt like I could hardly move. I layed on the couch everyday all day. I was extremely nauseous. I had chills and extreme sweating. I had other digestive symptoms. I continued to cough and my throat hurt really bad. During that time I also developed nasal symptoms. After two days of not being able to breathe through my nose, I remembered that I had some colloidal silver nasal spray. I used it. The next day my nasal symptoms were gone and the fever started to go away.

I continued to use the nasal spray. With my fever gone, I contined to lay on the couch for several days before I started to feel better. I rested and took it easy. Then I was fine. A family member of mine noted that in addition to many of my friends being sick in a similar manner, he had been sick and almost everyone he talked to was sick or knew someone who was. No one we knew went to the hospital or died.

I know that some people don't consider a temperature of 100-101 to be a fever, but when my temperature does that, I know something is going on that is not normal. Pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you are tired, sleep. If you feel frazzled, take it easy for a while. Take good care of your nutrition.

I hope that helps for those who are worried. Some of my friends went through the 'just coughing' stage longer than others. Some people I talked to had extremely achy limbs.

Get some colloidal silver nasal spray now, if you are worried. It really fixed my congestion and I suspect that it may have helped me recover faster.

That is indeed a good advice! Living here in Finland we go to sauna almost daily basis. (infact i just came from sauna myself
) It is an old saying here that sauna and alcohol cures everything! It makes wonders for your immunity system, even though it is not recommended if you have high fever.

I believe that many people had something nasty during March but many just dismissed as a regular cold or just a bad cold.

I also believe that March was the most active month for the H1N1 in the US.
