Yeah we know that already, but now it's not in the "offbeat" section, but in the "world" section. Or I'm missing something here.

Agreed if every body was more open to each other, that would build a solid trust platform and maybe we could learn more of mistakes and straighten up things�
and not go trough the loop for centuries� If it doesn�t work it doesn�t why the heck do we run things that don�t work? Are they/we to afraid to do big moves?
Example: If all the countries gathered together and grounded a one world country called �Earth� one government at the first time, and created logical perfect laws.
Now it seems like �What I Want� Not �What Is Right To Do�.

Pilots can't make out some of our own governments BS, and we call those UFO's, but there is strict evidence that they are not as such.

Well they did used Radar Equipment Infrared maybe other secretive technology also... And I don�t think they are totally lost... there is probably people with several years of experience in different fields. And they have now verified that they were Unidentified Flying Objects that needs more investigation.

Don't forget the fact that for years the F-117A was a super-classified aircraft. Pilots whitnessed this plane all the time, and never knew what it was.

Anymore if it doesn't show up on radar, it's no big deal really, if it does, it still isn't big. If they see something out of the ordinary it goes to JANAP 146E. That or they don't report anything at all. There are some pilots, who know that it was a plane. It doesn't matter that they have experience in that field.

I've been wondering why a government like Mexico, who likely has more to lose than to gain by releasing UFO videos, released it.

I say its a political ploy to shake up those in charge of keeping the subject of UFOs a classified secret. Perhaps a type of blackmail. By leaking out a recent event, the mexican government sort-of removed reason to suggest they've hidden anything regarding the subject and opened a doorway to public questions on if their own governments have anything to hide about it.

Mexico being a fairly weak country military wise must see having this information as a great resource to reinforce their political position in the world. They can scare the military giant countries of the world who are a part of UFO secrecy possibly into total submission by pulling a stunt like this. Either as a means for personal gain for Mexico, or as a means to stop or warn other countries from doing things Mexico doesn't like. Was it a ploy to scare the United States into giving up its conquest of the Middle East? I really don't know, but I doubt the release of the video had anything to do with letting the public in on the secret.

Anyone notice that the ufo story is totally gone off of CNN's website now? I was trying to find it, and couldnt, it was there earlier. They even showed the film on tv, now its gone......
Makes ya wonder sometimes.
But all in all that was very cool to see. I am very glad that some gov stepped forward and said...hey...this is wierd...and we dont know.
I am open to it being military aircraft, I saw a ufo in 97 and am open to that being military, but if we do have something like that...dang!!

My bad, I found it now by following a link above on the message board...but it is no longer on the front page of CNN. Was qucikly put to the side eh?! lol

I just seen the footage of the Ufos on both CNN and FOX NEWS I have to salute the mexicain goverment for letting this information come to light. I think perhaps some countries like mexico are getting fed up with cover ups like that which I believe the US is involved with on this topic. The US would never release footage like this to the public and thats pretty sad and a shame to the american people

If reports like this keep coming out from other gov officials, the US might not have much of a choice but to release a lot of information down the road. Thats my hope anyways.

There is already tons and tons of information out there about UFOs, but because people like to make things up and lie for money and thier moment of fame, you cant really trust it all. This however, is coming from a major Gov, so it cant be ignored. Cant wait to see if anything does come out of this. What gets me is that we are so pumped on trying to find life on mars and the possibility of it once being there, makes major news every time it comes out with a new finding, but UFOs get pushed aside after a little while...drives me nuts, personally I think they should start treating these incidents as MAJOR news too....COME ON PUBLIC MEDIA! get the ball rolling!!

I agree, unfortunately. It probably will just stop showing up on news sites, and quickly fade away. I really hope not, though. True, there are certainly other events going on right now that the media is and should be covering, but this is important, too, and shouldn't be swept under the rug.

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised at how many news sites and channels have run this story. Most of the people I mentioned it to at my workplace said they think the lights were planes. I'm anxious to see more footage and/or analysis.

Vega prohibits UFO Talk

Now Mexico's National Defense Secretary (Ricardo Vega Garc�a) is telling his personnel to stop talking about UFO's and Flying Saucers, in order to avoid doubts, and mockery...

He also told that he thought convenient involving Jaime Maussan (Mexico's Famous UFO and Paranormal Researcher) in this incident, because of his expertise and years of research in the field, and he also thought it was better to do something about this tapes, instead of leaving them on a box or drawer.

He also told this is not considered a national security issue.

I just saw the video on the local evening news here. CBS station. They showed the video and had an interview with Jaime Maussan (sp?). To my surprise the reporters didn't smirk and make fun of it, and instead treated it seriously. I'm impressed.

I also have to commend the Mexican government on releasing this tape to the public. It's nice to know that they are open to the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation despite being a very religious country.

As to the tape, it's interesting to note that the objects appeared to be triange shaped. At least the "lights" were organized in a triangle position.
