Over 50 tanks seen today on a train to where?

When a bunch of Strykers are moving on a train track there is not much to be concerned about. On the other hand when they are rolling down your street and blocking intersections now it is time to worry. Moving military hardware on the rails is a very common occurrence as this is the best way to move them without wearing out the vehicles.

I'm suspicious of ALL major military movements.

nothing to worry about, just military tanks. Tanks don't kill people or something...tanks are peaceful and loving , just look at them, they don't harm anybody. tanks don't blow up things, they don't have ammunition or something like that, no no...

As a couple people have mentioned, units train at NTC and JRTC and that's how the equipment is moved. Nothing really much else past that, sorry to deflate the excitement.
