[Busted] NASA Tries to Conceal Lunar Structures?

Thanks for your answer! Here is the link to the image at spaceflight.nasa.gov, and you are right, the marks are clearly visible in the hi res version:

So if we assume that this is the original photo, and that the brighter version found at Apollo Lunar Surface Journal have been cleaned up, it would be interesting to find out what the marks are.

I personally think they may be traces of moon dust, which was a big, big problem for the astronauts. I stuck to EVERYTHING, also the camera lenses:

The astronauts carried with them a special lens brush, it was first flown with them on Apollo 13 and first used on Apollo 14:

So I think what looks like scratch marks in this Apollo 16 photo may in fact be fine lines of moon dust left on the lens after a little sloppy dusting job with this brush. It seems like a reasonable explanation to me, anyway.

I dont think so, they're too in focus. Scratches in negative might be but my money is that they're scratches on the print that was digitized.

I've been known to take a few 'leaps of faith' regarding Moon landing conspiracies. However, this one would require me to be shot out of a cannon. ( And I'm not of correct caliber.)

I do not see structure. I do see scratches. It is no wonder if the film was ever actually handled like this obviously staged photo op. Just sayin'.

Yeah some photographers do that. It's not a good habit but they can manage if the only touch the edges. Even then the greese in your hands is transferred so to me it's a big no no

1) Gigantic 29 km bridge (bottom-left corner) near Orlov crater on the Far side (actualy, there is a base somewhere around the area):

It's a FACT that we landed on the moon, and have been back so get over it lol. The scratches or whatever are just that. Scratches or whatever! There is nothing on the moon, besides a flag and the lander so get over this dillusion. You people are ridiculous sometimes...

It would seem NASA does not try that much to hide things in moon photos.The concealed images of the other things they tryed to hide on the dark side of the moon looks like they have been changed by a idiot.Even with my skills of changing photos.I could have done a far better job within minutes.What kind of idiots does NASA employe.I just cannot believe they actually pay people to do this.I have seen better hidden images on Google earth images where they hide things with fake clouds trees and contrass imaging.

If one piece of information in Alex Collier lectures is wrong, doesn't mean that another piece in wrong also. I checked those maps in Google Moon and they are in fact accurate.

I noticed on the high res pic you can see the same scratch marks in the darkest part of the crater in front of the astronaut.With that said, I believe these are nothing but scratches...

Richard Hoagland really impresses me, most researchers go on camera and keep talking about their inside "sources" blah blah blah, this guy is different, he follows the paper trail and hires 3rd party experts to go over the images. He doesn't want you to simply believe his words like most. I've been on this site for probably 5 years now, watched just about every interview/ documentary out there and he's one of the best. I'm so sick and tired of people going on camera with just a story.

Hmm I'm intregued by the light (would have to be the sun I suppose?). Can't imagine why it would look like that unless it was a very foggy day or it was being seen through a glass like structure?

It's a cake and eat it scenario here, however which way you choose.
The OP's message is about manipulation of images with a win/win implication of both, (1) they never went to the Moon, (2)well they did, but they decided to cover up the naughty bits that might show up alien endeavours there....It's a waste of spacetime.

I took a quick look at the photo in the OP and I'm not sure if there is anything being hidden, and if so, it might not be what everyone thinks. The things that appear to be "structures" in the background are also present in the foreground applying the same filter(tapering the curves) to the entire image.

If you believe that then this is your opinion,and ONLY your opinion.I also believe that we have been to the moon,but to say that their couldnt be a conspiracy of sorts,or faked missions,is like someone telling me that our government doesnt have black-ops clandestine operations,and isn't spending billions to protect them.Any photo can be manipulated. Unless you were there,and riding along for the ride,you cant claim something you took no part in! And if their wasnt ANYTHING on the moon,why are many governments trying to get back there?If its just a dusty black and white rock,why? The scratches on the pictures are just that,scratches.Personally,I havnt seen another picture of the lunar lander,and the flag,to say THEY are still there either.

NASA never went to the Moon. Neither officially nor otherwise.

The reason is the fierce radiation of the Van Allen Belt.

The Russians knew this, The Americans knew this. It was a beautifully staged show, shot right here on Earth using a professional film crew of which most are now very dead. (Like Kubrick).

The Russians knew and know the NASA outing was a hoax the moment Astronauts came back ALIVE.

After looking at the photos I am not 100% clear the "alterations" by NASA that you are referring too. If it is the lines all across the second image, those are clearly in the first as well. However in the first the contrast is significantly different, making it harder to see those lines.

And also, on the skeptical side how can you confirm that these alterations were done by NASA? Anybody can upload a picture into paint and quickly and easily change the contrast and picture settings.

This is not to say that I don't believe NASA is in charge of a massive hoax and cover-up. Because I definately do!!!
