INDIGO's - nothing more than self delusional

Which is the point I brought up in my earlier post ... individuals such as the ones you mentioned have always loomed large in mankinds history ... take Da Vinci, Newton, Einstein and even Ghenghis Khan, Napolean and Hitler as additional examples.

So I fail to see or understand why now all of a sudden, individuals are making such a song and dance about their "special abilities and dispositions" as if it was something new that was only now making itself felt and was further being likened to some type of human evolutionary change that was only now manifesting itself.

As laura petrie stated, there is nothing quintessentially different in the nature of those calling themselves Indigo, that hasn't always existed throughout the entire course of human history.

I would really like to see some evidence of this claim you make when you say...

I have never gotten this impression from those people who post this stuff. They never deny being human, they just claim being different. No reason to bash them for what they think, you never know it could be true about the starchild stuff but its mere observation on there part. I mean theres many people in the world who believe in a religion.

Well, it seems to me that, from what I've heard, these 'Indigo' guys are seriously up themselves.
I haven't actually read the whole thread so I don't know what's going down but they sound like spoilt brats. Yes, ok, I'm the first to admit to my brilliance , but these guys aren't brilliant, they're idiots.
I've never met one, I've never interacted in any way with one (that I know of) but I hate them ffor their outrageously obnoxious(?) attitude. To be special one must be sage in the eyes of their brilliance, not outright with it.

We are here at ATS and its a Conspiracy Site. Where people share moments and knowledge with each other. Here are members who are experts into science, or who are mediums or also indigos!
So why dont you ask something?

I totally agree with some of the posters here that everything "Indigos" claim to be is really nothing new at all and has existed since the dawn of mankind.

There have always been people that were clairvoyant.

There have always been people that were sensitive to others' emotions (they're called empaths).

There have always been people that had premonitions and dreams.

That's why I don't like the whole "Indigo" BS... it makes it look like it's something brand new and like a whole new generation. Trust me, it's not.

Are you jealous or something?
Instead of calling these people out, why not embrace them and try to learn a bit or two from them?

No proof whatsoever that such an individual as an "Indigo" even exists. Simply saying "I'm an Indigo because I'm different" is saying nothing.

Perhaps I'm being too critical of you ... I'll tell you what, why don't you take this opportunity to explain to all of us non-believers just WHY you BELIEVE that you are an Indigo. What do you feel is "special" or "different" about you ? Please make sure you can back up and validate each of your claims otherwise skip that particular claim.

Reincarnation is yet another so-called "belief system" with ZERO evidence and as for "reincarnates" having a huge knowledge about the species, then I'm afraid you've totally lost me with that statement. Exactly what sort of knowledge are you referring to ? To what use is this acquired knowledge put to ?

Whatever I say you will never trust me. You dont know me, and over a thread in a forum, how should I proof it? You dont see my soul, you only can read what I write and Im not native english, so its difficult to bring thoughts down in the right words. (sometimes..)

To be honest, I don't really focus much on this "so-called" indigo stuff, but seeing as it gained popularity after observing during my freshmen-sophomore years in high school, I guess I could do some research.

You're right also, it's something that needs to be proven, but at the moment, I doubt that science has the technology to do so. Your most reliable source is yourself. You've probably did experience it, but only consider it as a nightmare, or you were too skeptical about it. Nonetheless, you make good points.

From what I'm seeing, being an indigo is some sort of event that someone should experience by oneself, not rely on some pointless tests that can spew randomness.

One can't really prove things with just texts and stuff unless it relates to the things you have experienced, and you can vouch for that person. Other than that, just by noting the amount of indigos who makes such claims, and told about their personal experience, with lots of people backing them up with their stories noting similar elements, that raises credibility. But then again, it could be some closed group trying to promote some cult. Like this one....

Just wanting to throw in my two cents. This whole indigo thing could be real, or it can just be another cult.

I've experienced some weird stuff, but I don't consider myself as an indigo. I'm more of a unique guy who follows his own gig without commercially spreading it out like some illegit version of Harry Potter.

I really don't understand the Indigo hate. There is no reason to hate them or call them delusional. All they want to do is help, they are concerned. Oh they think they're special, blah blah... Ok that's a small group who do love attention. You're going to have that in any group or classification of people.

The majority of indigos are just very sensitive and intuitive. I honestly believe in the phenomena. The majority of people go through life finding connections with others with no problem. These people don't, they really don't. The connections are few but remarkable. They have had the passion deep down to keep going on their own path and not leave themselves just to have connection with the majority and that takes serious mental stamina in my honest opinion.

We do get angry at times, lash out, have a f*ck the world moments a lot. But is that a bad thing?

Obviously I'm not being very clear in my posts or perhaps just failing to get my thoughts across to you.

By giving yourselves the self-appointed title of "Indigo", you're effectively making a statement to the world that "hey, look at me ... I consider myself special in some wonderful way that the majority of other people are not ... because this is what I believe, I'm going to join hands with other similar "special" people and we'll seperate ourselves from everyone else by giving ourselves such a mysterious title of 'Indigo'".

But my main question to all you Indigo's out there is WHY have you suddenly decided that NOW is the right time to announce yourselves ? Are you basically saying that you all have something in common with each other that has NEVER existed before and so you feel justified in giving yourselves "special sounding" titles ?
However, if these "abilities" you all claim to have are in actual fact nothing new and have always presumably existed within certain people stretching back in time, then again, why choose now to put a special "label" on it ?

So, it seems like it boils down to a very simple question that you should have no trouble in answering.

"Do you (Indigos) feel that you're a NEW and significant step in human enlightenment and deserving of such a title ?"

I didnt found out on day that Im an Indigo. A guy, a very spiritual guy, told me 2002 that Im an Indigo. (we talked together and i told him some strange stories about my life..)

I'm honestly amazed many of us have made it this far. Most really don't understand how we think, feel, ect... They just think we are some kind of wacko's who try to pretend we are different to justify the world we live in. I wish.... I wish I was just putting on an act. I wish I could snap out of it sometimes and be "normal".

There are many times when I've said why me? Why!? But as time goes by the more I enjoy being "weird" or "different". I can see others world cracking around them, although many will try their hardest to deny it. They have to take their pills and therapy just to get them through another week.

I don't know, but I have a gut feeling that things are going to get better for all of us. I hope 2012 isn't just an awkward coincidence among cultures. I cannot vision this kind of world lasting much beyond this century...
