I have noticed that crop circles seem to have become much more intricate since GPS has come about. Could it be that a design can be followed from a starting point using GPS technology? I'm not trying to deter anyone's beliefs about the origin of these creations, I'm just throwing another possibility out there.

I wonder if aliens like to "tag" planets like graffiti. Or maybe they're planting their "flags" like we did on the moon. And these are meaningless. Just wondering.

If something that large happens how will we know? I don't think the ATS servers can handle all of us screaming at one time lol. Let it be known that if that happens then I will be surfing it in my boat to Mexico.

Its interesting that this theory coincides with the Web-Bot prediction for major seismic activity two weeks after the first major eclipse. They did say however they think the sea rise event on the east coast would be a slow rise situation.

I can tell you for one that the waters are very high now on the Gulf of Mexico.

That is one of the most intelligent things i have seen in this thread. It would make for a pretty good explanation why these cropcircles keep getting better and better......

Star for you!!!

You know, it's people on this site that make ridiculous predictions with no basis whatsoever that give crop circles such a bad rap.

For an example, the july 7th "solar storm" nonsense.

The ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL that deciphered this crop circle has simply stated: There are mayan calendar dates signified within this circle.

Which is true!

Just as the actual professional that deciphered the July 7th crop circle said: There will be activity on the sun on July 7th.

Just as in the Jellyfish, and now this one, people take these interpretations too far and then everyone decries that crop circles are meaningless.

Crop circles are far from meaningless -- but if people would just leave the actual scientists and researchers to do the deciphering -- and stop over-sensationalizing their meanings with calls of doom and gloom -- perhaps we could have meaningful conversations without constantly getting ridiculed and flamed.

GPS would allow them to better pinpoint a LOCATION for a circle, but since the circles appear in many of the same fields as they have for decades, I don't think GPS has anything to do with it.

As to the increase in extremely intricate design, keep in mind that if there were another lifeform creating circles, their civilization would be progressing just as ours does.

I personally don't think aliens make them, but what I am saying is that the fact they they are progressively more detailed doesn't make for the argument against alien origin.

In all of the universe, just as with Earth, planets evolve. We have no way of knowing what stage of development another civilization is currently enjoying.

Lastly, just as we have people living in space for 6 months at a time, and now they are asking for "space volunteers" for a one-way trip, for all we know the "aliens" are a select group that are told: You'll live in space and explore for five years and then return and be replaced with another crew. There would certainly be advancements made by the time they returned in five years. Of course this is all speculative, but everything concerning aliens is.

Further, did it ever cross your mind that whatever technology is used to making circles, depends on and/or interacts with our current technology. Meaning, the advancement of technology might allow for more detailed depictions, but not be the cause.

As for circles being hoaxed, I think that the 1500' long "message" from June that has to date been partially deciphered certainly leads one to the conclusion that these are not people with a simple hobby. Over 1500 feet of ancient writing and pictograms -- very ornate may I add -- is not something your average Joe from the local pub bothers to learn about and/or produce in a field.

None of this explains HOW they are made. Night vision goggles do not make more intricate designs. Nor do they do anything but allow one to see better in the dark. This would not improve their skill -- only their vision. It does not give them more time to make them, it does not create a better design, it does not create perfect symmetry, etc.

It would allow them to see better without the aid of lights, but is not HOW THEY ARE MADE. I still want to know what technology is making them. Further, night vision goggles don't make people invisible. The helicopters surveying the fields at night with spot lights would still see people -- with or without night vision goggles.

I think we should stop the game playing and really look at these circles.

We know there are talented artist that can create these but there are circles that I believe have occured by other means.

This is the third thread I am going to write this in and I sure hope you see what I see and make the connection.

Instead of rewriting this I am posting where it already is and see if you get the connection.

Elitist Baghdad symbolism crop circles 14th century ......if all crop circles are man made as some have been going on about then I say they went through a lot of work to come up with this one

I have two theories here

Either its man made.

Or its not, and if it is extraterrestrial , hey, even they need lawn art right?
An ET version of a Picasso!

Hey every artist needs a canvas!

He has not taken the thread to new levels of ignorance nor has he exploited other members.

The members who believe this to be a factual theory have been exploited by their own ignorance & gullibility, this thread has merely served as a medium to highlight a very troubling issue that is rife on these forums that instead of denying ignorance people gladly welcome it into their lives with open arms.

This is stupidity, I'm astounded that people actually support such idiotic nonsense. 100 people could come up with 100 different yet completely relevant "interpretations." A dot in an area is a volcano? ... sigh.

Could YOU folks create a CC that seems mysterious, amazing, and make people come up a bunch of interpretations? Yes.. I have no doubt you could. Why folks think that other people cannot be as clever baffles me utterly. Yea.. people are doing this to mess with your heads. Yet it's simple crap... and people still fall for it. ugh.

Attacks?

I am not attacking anyone. I am attacking the idea that these mean anything. I believe in UFOs. I believe they are here. I do not believe this nonsense. It an artistic image. Dots in squares. Are you seriously suggesting that someone guessed right? That this is a volcano? please....

It's a lost cause though. Those who believe in CCs, will support them and the interpretations made about them no matter how ludicrous or far-fetched they may be.

And no surprise... once again, it's a doom and gloom prediction. Always about mass death, disaster, we are all doomed, etc. It gets old.

I couldn't help but think I MISSED SOMETHING!! But I didn't!

I am actually sitting here totally dumbfounded (and even a little angry) how people can buy into this nonsense "deciphered cropcircle." I seriously think this thread might be a hoax!

ANYONE can count to 12 and say it means something. I went back to the OP FOUR times, I even copied the picture to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Take out a few chunks of crop circle, say it looks like some island, make up numbers - if you believe this guy you REALLY need to question some things about how you live your life and get your information.

I'm actually shaking my head in real life here about the amount of sheer nonsense which can sometimes be found on the internet and how people buy into it.
