WASHINGTON (AP) - The government is conducting its first-ever nationwide exercise Monday aimed at preventing a terrorist attack. The 5-day exercise, being coordinated by the Homeland Security Department, will involve simulated "real life" scenarios, with a focus on preventing a terrorist from entering the U.S. to carry out an attack. Also participating will be officials from the Pentagon, office of the Director of National Intelligence as well as the Justice and State departments.
