the real world and the unseen world

I want to know the connection between the unseen realms and the real world we live in, is it true, that we must have somekind of power over the unseen to take control of the reality?. For examples, American native have a which, arthur have merlin, israel have its Prophets, Reagan have Nancy, hakuna have matata (just kidding). So is this true that we must do this to conquer the world, Does Bill gates and Rockerfeller have their own which doctor or am I just being silly?.
