Obama: Economy Depends On Healthcare!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Wednesday he realized Americans were skeptical about his healthcare overhaul, but that the country's economic recovery depended on implementing the $1 trillion plan. Obama, insisting the "stars are aligned" for approval this year despite discord in Congress over the plan, warned inaction would undermine the economy, worsen the deficit and cripple millions of Americans financially.

First, it was TARP, then 'green jobs', that were going to save us. Now, it's 'healthcare'! He can't keep this slight of hand game up forever. And the governments of the world can't keep doctoring the numbers.

The UK spinning their retail numbers to appear as though they were four times above expectations. The US banksters, with the cooperation of 'sneaky' Uncle Sam, telling us they are posting 'record profits'! Of course, they fail to tell you that the 'profit' came after 10K people were laid off and retirement funds looted.

How freakin typical. And to be able to make that comment after he's only been in office for less than a year speaks volumes.

It's all to get the brainwashed people of the country to support this horrible initiative. I don't have healthcare, don't really want it and I sure as h*** don't want "Government" healthcare.

That is assuming I would even qualify since I'm overweight and I smoke. I'd assume that according to the government that would make me a horrible person who can't make the correct "lifestyle" choices and I would deserve anything that happened to me.

To enrich the insurance companies/medical facilities/etc. when they've done nothing to earn it just makes me wanna ...

I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how adding a trillion more dollars to the deficit is going to reduce the deficit. That statement just doesn't make any sense at all.

No, I don't thing today anybody is buying into that, but still people most of the time hear the "word" free and becomes oblivious of how free really things are.

Yesterday Obama lie in front of the cameras to the American people talking about the health care.

And the biggest lie was that he is not going to add the cost of health care bill to the deficit.

I still stand by my words, I wonder if he is going to just crap the money.

This is amazing. What is he smoking? Spending trillions more for National Health Care that nobody wants is going to help our economic recovery? And why is he in such a hurry to shove this down our throats in two weeks time? "If" this nightmare passes, what other surprise are we going to get from BO?

I don't know what's worse, this comment by Obama, or Biden saying "we need to spend more money or else we'll go bankrupt".

Obama is really starting to sound like a Snake Oil Salesman.
Why should anyone, especially his followers, believe him if not one of his campaign promises has yet to be fulfilled?

I just heard Hillary got laughed at in India.

This country is quickly becoming a laughing stock in every corner of the Earth. They think we are idiots for letting Obama act unilaterally on so many domestic issues while demonstrating true ineptitude in the arena of foreign policy.
