I've been wondering, since January 20th, what is the big hurry to get all thise bills passed. Pelosi and Reid are pushing bills through the house
and the senate with little or no debate. They are not giving Congress time to read the bill, and they they are adding 300 pages of amendments at
three in the morning, or at midnight, and they are expected to vote on the bill the next day.
I don't thing this is what the founding fathers expected, and I sure as heck kow that this is not what the average, everyday, American wants.
Why is Obama so intent on getting his health care bill signed befor the August recess? Could it be that he is afraid that the voters will be having
demonstrations in front of their senators and representatives' offices, protesting Universal Health Care, Cap and Trade, and demanding that the
bailouts cease? That the stimulus money be put on hold?
Obama has an agenda that is more than turning this country into a socialist state. And I think that is why he's pushing these bills through. He
wants a mechinism in place that will let him move on to his real agenda, whatever it is?
My wife and I discuss this daily. We are getting prepared for the worst while we hope for the best, but the truth of the matter is we are both
afraid. We are afraid of our friends who don't see it, or don't know what to do. We are afraid for our families, and most of all we are afraid for
our country.
What are ATS'ers opinions on this.
