Ads By Google?

I've seen these on a bunch of websites and I was wondering what they are and how they work? Thanks.

Google matches prepared ads to relevant interest/content on the page you're on.

You click, the host (in this case ATS) makes some money per click paid by the advertiser through Google. I don't know Google's cut.

SO could explain the machinery better than me. Google ads are neat and unobtrusive.

Ahhh, so they make money per click? They should tell us to click the ads a few times a day and that could help pay for hosting this great site. Thanks, Av.

Yes it is a very good way of offsetting costs and ought to be encouraged.

no, we don't have popups here, and thank god for that. Their a real nuisance.

And there never will be pop-ups! (And if there ever is, I have been kidnapped and am being tourtured, start the manhunt immediately!)
