Might be from another dimension or time line.

I had an experience that i still can't shake off my mind, still bugs me to this day. To make a long story short what happened was that i owed about $300 on my cell phone bill. I very vividly remember paying it over the internet, taking a screen shot of the receipt and saving it to my desktop. I remember getting a confirmation number, which you only get after a successful payment, and writing it down.

This is where it gets weird. A few days later, while at work, i realized my cell phone had been suspended. When i called my company they said that was because of nonpayment. I explained to them that i had made a payment and that i would call them back and give them the confirmation number when i got home later day that.

I asked them to look in their system and they found no trace of any payment whatsoever. neither did I find a copy on my computer when i searched for it later that day.

now, everyone that I've told this story to says i just imagined that i jus timagined all this. t but the chain of events that led up to that payment being made and the vivid memories... i just find that hard to believe.

In my mind i am pretty sure that i made the payment because it was quite a high bill and i knew i was going to get suspended. I remember paying for it, i remember getting a confirmation number, i remember taking a screnshot, i remember saving it to my computer. which is why i was so shocked to learn that my phone was suspended a few days later and started looking into this issue.

has anyone had a similar experience where you are sure that you did something but there is no record of it and noone remmebers?

its obvious the system didnt take your payment.... just because it gave you a confirmation number always mean the payment went thru..... you have to understand is that when your dealing with a website the website is interfacing with a very different system... (sometimes very old) and everyonc in a while during interface it will have a hiccup.... In the future dont put to much trust in a website... because its not the actual system doing the payments ...its just a pretty cover. now im a firm beleiverin time lines changing and being able to see multple time lines (usually in dreams) but in your case.... looks like it was just a glitch on the website ....not the matrix

I don't think it's obvious that the computer didn't take your payment.

I have had this happen several times to me. I have been sure that I made a payment or that I have talked on the phone to someone earlier.

I remember I was sure I talked to my brother on the phone and I remember the conversation. He called me later that day and I said didn't we talk already? He hadn't even gotten off of work yet.

I think this happens because I think we live in a multi dimensional universe. We already know that if your hooked up to a brain scan and you are about to hit a button, your brain signals before you hit the button.

I think many things can be explained in the context of a multi-dimensional universe but most people are comfortable with just trying to explain these things away.

What happend to the screenshot you took ??
Ehh.. btw, these companies do lots of mistakes .

People, really, you should be feet on earth, not with too much fantasy. That said by a guy who is famous for his big fantasy.

Anyway, ATS has more important issues than things like that.

absolutely no chance, when you get a confirmation number it is because the payment has gone through. In any case, if it had been the case of the payment not going through it would have at least been in the system. There was no trace at all, nothing, zero.

i searched for it, but never found it. I suppose it's a case of me jumping timelines or universes inadvertently, not the universe changing around me...

that is until it happens to you and then you'll know what it feels like to be 100% positive you did something but there is no trace or no one remembers. weird feeling i can't shake off even if i want to forget about it. little by little though i am convincing myself that it never happened...

Do you realize that Parallel Universes and Extra-Dimensions are accepted and studied by Physicist from M.I.T. to Oxford?

Why in the world would it be fantasy?

I've had deja vu on multiple occasions, but that wasn't one of them.

your bank account doesn't show any form of discrepancy? Looks like the person on the other side of the transaction screwed up and the system didn't take in regards to your payment.

no, when you make a payment online, you are only given a confirmation number after the payment is approved. plus even if it was a screw up.. I couldn't find the screenshot which i took and saved on my desktop...

perhaps you dwell on the idea, and dreamed it up in the night or in early morning.

Kinda like when you need to use the restroom before you wake up or have something to do. Youll have a vivid dream of doing it, but in reality it never happened.

Just because it's not supposed to give you a confirmation number until the transaction is complete, doesn't mean it did. Systems can fail in more ways than we can imagine -- ask anyone who works with computers. Just because we don't know how a glitch can occur, doesn't mean it didn't.

I think more than once but I know for sure at least once.

In 1998 a famous celebrity died (Richardo Montalban) .. It was all over the news and the night it was reported my friend working 3rd shift called me to tell me that "Dude, Khan died". They had a 1 hour special on TV honoring him, his life in acting, etc, read numerous online articles. (I worked in telecom and we had T1 access back then which was fast).

My friend and I had a "drinking night" the next weekend to "toast" Khan (yeah we were Star Trek fans) and to celebrate his purchase of a "Beer Meister" Keg frig.

Didn't think much about it until a couple years ago..... When I saw Richardo Montalban in an infomercial while flipping channels late one night.... I was like, wow... this must be an old infomercial... it was close to the end so I watched the rest of it and it was copyright 2002!

So, I got on the internet to see what the hell was going on... and I couldn't find a single thing about his death and that he was still alive... this freaked me out.

I called my friend and he remembered NOTHING of any of these events and when he bought his Beer Meister, he "broke it in" with another buddy of his.

So, I have had a few "strange" things happen like this but it wasn't something I could definitely say yes or no to because it wasn't something of a personal nature or I should say "other" incidents were not so clear because it didn't involve anything other than maybe a quick internet article or news blip but this one I clearly know happened.

Note: I only have 2 of what I would call "weird personal stories". I think I may have only mentioned this one time before online in the past because I know it sounds crazy.

I see stories like yours all the time, where people swear up and down that a famous celebrity has died, only to find they are still alive or died more recently than remembered. There are too many of them to make it a fluke, but I wonder why you never hear people talk about other things like the moon landing or the Challenger explosion in such a manner.
