hmmm maybe we don't even know if there is bigger explorations out there, maybe they do and thats where they have gone, i see what you are trying to say however we will never know, but not all ET are that far advanced but maybe just maybe your right who would want to waste there time coming to our hostile planet

I know a decent bit of physics...how do we seriously know what we see as the edge is the edge? Just because science says something does not make it true...though the issue is that you chose to go directly to insulting him as opposed to debate

Now...OP

A physicist named Michio Kakau writes a book called Hyperspace. In essence it works around how extra dimensions (5th dimension and up) function. One of the things he discusses is a concept of species typing and there are but 4 types as predicted by some cosmologists

Type 0 (where we are now) - Is the type who has yet to master any of the elements needed for universal travel

Type 1 - This is the type of civilization who has mastery over their own weather systems and who are capable of travelling throughout vast distances. This type also has full control over all energy resources of the single planet they inhabit

Type 2 - This is the civilization who can harness all the power of a star such as the sun. They can travel across galaxies

Type 3 - This is the species who can control all the energy of a single galaxy. This type can travel...well pretty much anywhere

As you can see we exist waaaaaaaaaaaay deep into Type 0 and have a lot of work to do to reach Type I. My point to all this is, perhaps the 'universe' is only the universe as WE know it and there is plenty more to it.

All string theory is incomplete, but a part of M theory postulates that our 3 dimensional universe might exist in space that has more than 3 dimensions as a membrane like structure. Also that there are other 3,4,5 dimensional membranes floating around in this higher dimensional space.

This is an interesting theory. I do see what you mean but that statement would imply that humans are they only reasonable evolved beings in this Universe.

And see THAT is something I do not believe at all.

You´re right when you say humans just have to climb up higher on the ladder of Evolution. That´s what I believe in too. Nonetheless humans have proven throughout History that they are not capable of sustaining complex technological societies. They will FALL one way or the other.

There will be a point where the discrepancy between those who ´have´ the technology and those who ´have´ nothing, not even food or a roof over their head, will be so enormous that some sort of revolution is bound to happen.

Look at the animal world, what happens there when habitats get too crowed?

As for the ET´s, maybe they are still here, maybe they always have been here ? Even before humans? Maybe we humans are but a poor product of cross-breeding between ET´s and apes?

I don´t think they´re gone, I think they watch us closely, flying in out this Dimension into Higher Realms (higher frequencies – vibrations). Only to watch us f*ck up this Planet and scrape those off that will ssomehow reach a Higher Dimensional State.

they may have left YOUR personal universe, but not everyone elses neccesarily.....

You seem to forget we each inhabit our OWN little universe, so to speek.....they are still here in mine...haven't left me yet....in fact I don't think they would ever truly leave me.

We have a lot of frigging work to do here....they wouldn't just give us all this info and instructions, then take off and have us deal with the whole human race on our own...

If that were true, then damn, we must be good.....oh, but we aren't and still need a lot of help.

Perhaps the ET’s have already escaped there own universe and are now exploring ours, assuming one of the many multiple universe theories are correct. If this is the only universe and it is extremely large, then they (ET’s) may not have mapped all of it.

The concept of “more advance”, is difficult to evaluate, just because they can travel vast distances does not necessarily mean they are advanced in other areas of science, we may have even invented things that they have not. If these ET’s have evolved from a totally different Eco system to us, then they would most likely find us extremely interesting.

It is out job as you put it to try and work our way to the stars, but we are a long way off, from Mr Michio Kakau’s example of a type 1 civilization. As a society the ET’s may not be too impressed with us and may think us very barbaric. The best way for us to move into a type 1,2 and eventually a type 3 civilization is to try and put aside our differences and work together and towards the same goals. Until we can do those things, there may be more at stake, than just reaching stars.
