as someone who believes wholeheartedly in aliens and ufos myself, i take such issue with this comment.

you are so entirely hypocritical in your close-mindedness refusing to accept the possibility that the original video may be a hoax based on the evidence that someone else has made something similar artificially. hopefully the original isn't a hoax, it was very cool. that said your post suggests you should believe everything you see and don't bother having a critical mind. in which case why not just accept it's a hoax and don't be critical of that? furthermore if you want us to share with stuff with 'investigators' then what do you think they should do? in case you didn't notice investigators are supposed to question evidence to try and find the truth, not blindly follow their own personal belief regardless of what is in front of them.

this video does NOT debunk the original, but it looks very similar so casts the original into serious doubt (sadly). but to be so vehemently anti sceptic is so close-minded it's painful to read. your entire post i quoted above was SO hypocritical i can barely believe you said it.

This update posted by free_spirit TOTALLY destroys the CGI explanation...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

How so?
Pedro jr. couldn't have made 2 videos?

2 screenshots from a 2nd video doesn't prove anything either way. I think it's to early to say whether it could be an authentic sighting or not.

However considering

a) Pedro Herndez has multiple ufo videos
b) there's a younger Pedro Hernadez who uses After Effects and looks like he could be the son of Mr. Hernandez
c) Jamie Maussan is involved

I think it's most likely a hoax.

I hope that because you SOMEWHAT were able to duplicate what you saw on the video you're not implying that you have simply debunked it. I can replicate an airplane flying via CGI and that doesn't mean airplanes don't fly or don't exist.

Good job on the effect; however, I am not fully satisfied with the debunking effort.

Cheers,

Vindicated! I stated as much a few pages into the original thread. I have over a decade of experience selling this type of software and have seen several such effects replicated a number of times. Most notably using Autodesk's Maya Nucleus nParticles package. Very nice work - rising to the challenge of the fool-hardy believers demanding that one recreate such an effect.

What's both interesting and sad is now thay have changed their argument to "This doesn't prove the video wasn't real!"

Look, logic dictates that the odds of this being a hoax are MILLIONS of times higher than it being a genuine video of a bona-fide extraterrestial vehicle - especially given the persons involved. Add to it the fact that another poster was able to replicate very similar effects and I believe you have your answer - CGI HOAX!

Really I don't see it debunking the video, the spheres moved differently flew around eachother looked different, were behind the fog, the shaking effect would also be quite difficult to portray.

Good luck debunking it.

But it was a good point. I would say we should all hold off until we hear someone that gets the raw footage, and is able to examine it in its entirety. I've seen some crazy hoaxes, and I know you have too, but we shouldn't start screaming "real deal", until we've looked at all angles.

Did someone translated the speech from that video, sorry I didnt read the
whole thread, I mean the first one ?
And I think we need more information about that video like the place,
who is the guy, are there another sightings in that area that have similar
characteristics and aren't filmed by the same person ....

Kozmo the link you provided does not work it says wrong address.

Nice find/work on the "effects". It does have a similar look.

But, I am no CGI expert or novice for that matter. Can we not replicate anything with CGI? So technically anything real could be "debunked" so to speak. Has anyone actually seen Obama in person? Maybe he is CGI or even a hologram...

Just saying

I have spent well over ten years a as a graphic specialist - I BUILD PARTICLE ENGINES - I find it offensive that someone thinks that having installed after effects after a couple of days they can come on here and claim with such authority that this is a fake - seriously get a life.

This footage is NOT, and i mean NOT done with after effects - one more time - I WRITE THE CODE BEHIND THE ENGINES WHICH ARE USED TO CREATE THIS SORT OF THING (among many other things) - including physics, filters etc.

Really find this type assumed arrogance offensive.

GOOD! You're the perfect candidate to show us that this is real. I'm not doubting you, but would like for you to show us all how authentic this footage is.

Thank you for the update easynow, although this certainly does not rule out anything mundane however. I am now much more interested in any further developments (f any more come) in that thread. Here is a copy of one of the pictures captured by another camera owned by another witness:

Again, here is the link to the original thread for anyone just coming into this case:www.abovetopsecret.com...

So we have two witnesses confirming the same sighting with video and
pics. Right ?
I personally think that this is real, but alien or ours I cant tell, who knows
what kind of toys we got by now.
I have experience with 3ds max too and I think that to make that effect
you need a very good particle plug in and the lighting has to be insanely
good. Then this has to be processed in some after effect program to give the grain artifact from the camera. If this is made in a 3d program I think
that the movement of the object will be much more linear.
My crappy 3ds max work

The fact that I can prove something is not an artificial animation - does not mean I can prove it is an alien craft - pffft.

Further my point is that this person has used After Effects for two days and has posted with authority that this was artificially created - an application which takes YEARS to master. So the original poster has no right, and is profoundly disingenous in her claims.

I'm not asking you to prove it to be of extraterrestrial origin. I'm asking you to show all of us, how this is legit. I'm not concerned who is piloting the crafts, but if the crafts are indeed real. I'm not concerned about the OP claims, I'm interested in yours. If it's real, show us, and tell us why. It's just that easy.....

Continuing -
having looked again at the original and the PATHETIC footage put up by our resident After Effects expert I am even more dismayed that this thread even exists.

Using flash ActionScript 3.0 player 10 I would be able to reproduce this clip in its entirety almost perfectly - in fact I would be able to do it so that it replayed differently every time with organic movement etc - however it still would be obvious as being a rendered animation - even super high end custom applications are going to be reasonably obvious -

It would take someone with an exceptional skill set, with an exceptional tool - not AE, to reproduce something like this.

Really dissapointed at the OP's assertion of authority and professionalism when NONE exists.
