Never thought i would see the day.

My mother has always been one of those don't trust the government types. Always question what you are being told she told me since I was a small child.

Today I was astonished when we were discussing the article in breaking news about the rfid hacker guy.

"We need to keep tabs on people because of all the terrorists in this country. I have nothing to hide so they can spy on me all they want."

My own mother, giving into what she is being told is "Good for her"

How does one combat this? How does one step in and keep it from happening? She doesn't even drink tap water, so how did they get ahold of her mind and make her think that way?

Maybe...just a thought and I am not making fun of you...

maybe she saw truth in that part without some pill she had to swallow

Yes, but what could make a normally free thinking person decide that it is ok for the government to spy on everyone just to possibly catch someone that might possibly be a "Terrorist"?

You can read, dig, find and seek as much knowledge as you want but unless you actually choose to believe the answers you will untimately find.

Perhaps she is just realizing that they will do whatever they want, and there isn't thing one that she or anybody can do about it.
