Explaining what the Gnostics were talking about.

This is the new way of thinking that must permeate the world. It may seem hard to understand at first, but you need to change your mindset from a polarised good/evil view of the world and a linear beginning and end view of time to a unified and cyclical mindset. This is the key, which unlocks the mysteries of a religion that was killed off before it could start. It is far from finished.

from what i understand the 'good / evil' idea is based on the concept of duality which is distinctly a western concept born out of the 'enlightenment'.

i do believe that there are many non-western cultures, who were not subject to the influence of the enlightenment who do not see the world in this way.

so there is arguably no reason to say that such an idea 'died' before taking root, we just don't get to see it as we tend to view the world in a dualistic manner.

i know there are other cultures that have aspects of dualism in their belief systems, the eastern ying/yang comes to mind.

still i am no expert just sharing my 2 cents.

oh, and by the way, i dig the gnostics.
