Really, I think you are being oversensitive to words. You are trying to make it sound like i am saying something bad when i am not.
This stuff is getting completely out of hand. I can't believe with everything going on in the world, at any given time I can come to ATS and see multiple threads about the gay subject.

Normal simply means of the norm.
It is a statistical term meaning the majority of a certain thing have this characteristic. In this case heterosexuality being say +90% of the population, would make it the statistical norm by far.
And where does majority denote positive or negative?
Does a majority inclination suggest a static environment?
We aren't arguing the popularity of 'normal', really, we are discussing the relative denotions of positive and negative as ascertained by varying regional doctrines...which are inadequate since a negative perspective of diversity negates adequate collaborations and make moot the very doctrines that some opinions are based upon...
Seriously...your subjective perspective is but one...and is not shared globally one hundred percent.
I still contend that normal is a subjective term and can be interpreted as negitive even when intended as an innocuous term...and there is nothing in the world that stipulates that any one way is the best and only way
