Don't take that the wrong way, 99.9999% agree with you.

Everyone would be kind if they got this thing he got.

And at core, they are kind, at least in potentia. Their problem? The lack of kindness in others and in the world at large. It's a judgement against, perpetuating the problem.

Sometimes I take it too seriously, just lose myself in it, you know how it goes.
But mother Earth is always there to make me remember.

Those who are greedy are that way because they have not yet realized their true essence.
If only more people realized that everything they sought after was actually inside of them all along.

Too many people try to find themselves and happiness in possessions, through other people, through job titles, ranks, religions... all of which are temporary things.
The power within, however, is not temporary...and is the building block for all that is, and ever was. Once harnessed... suffering, greed, and negativity are gone with the wind...and peace is obtained.

And we've all got that... just too few people realize it...

People, I honestly suggest questioning the crap out of this guy, to see what his newfound "got it" awareness is about, but don't try to prove anything or compare yourself, just drill him and see if there's a chink in his light.

This is what they used to do way back in the days - I'm reading a book right now called "The Way of Zen" by Alan Watts.

It's interesting to see this thread pop up, as I was meditating earlier attempting to "have" a satori, which doesn't work!

I'm a pretty smart cookie, but I still need to get my mind sufficiently trapped to get to the end of it - the end of what? There is no mind, I cannot find it, or my "self" - I must keep reminding myself that I'm completely lost and know nothing - it's hard to do, this Buddha enlightenment thing - there I go again, thinking it's a doing - I'll get there - op I did it again, since you can't strive or seek it somewhere that is not here now. It will come to me, whatever that means, but it will, I have faith.

"The Way of Zen" by Alan Watts - I highly recommend it Buddha-boy.

Thank you very much for that. Something's happening with me I think, so much so other people are breaking out in satori, maybe even some impacted by some of my writings where it's all connected.

But you CAN tell when they are questioned, precisely whether it's valid or not, very quickly. This kid seems to have it from what I can tell.

And if I can make that evaluation correctly, then hey, that WOULD mean I have it too, and can even play the role of "Master"!
