You'd think something one micron thick would be invisible or something.

The article mentioned it would be useful for different technologies. But since it's flexible and as hard as diamond, I wonder if it would make a decent material for body armour.

I read a short time back an article stating that this material was the only way to build faster cpu's as silicon has about reached its limits speed wise.

Thats why computers have went to muli cores now. So... by the time we are buying pc's with 2,048 cores in them graphine will be ready to jack up the gigahertz to terahertz.

no lad.. youre not... I read that same thing as well. there was even a mock up of a computer made from crystals and some jagg off actually made a working model as well (clearly a joke, but still)
