Been reading stuff here, for a while, now decided to sign up.
One main reason for signing up also is my interested in subterranean locations.
There are many that people know exist, like old bunkers, mines etc, but then I am interested in the ones that are undiscovered and secret.
One right now I am looking into is the Staffordshire hole, written by Dr. Plot in a Natural History of Staffordshire. Its a little less known, but
there is so little to go on besides a paragraph, even that of which I am not certain exists in it unless someone who has it can confirm such a story
is contained.
As far as I'm also aware no one has actually looked for any further evidence of its existence.
Not strictly believing it exists or that it doesn't but would be interesting to actually make a investigation into it. Would like to open a
discussion about it with other people here, mostly people from the country and county if there's any here.
So far been looking at old maps of Staffordshire on the net, but they are always low res which is a shame.
Anyway look forward to further topics here.
