I know where Marfa is. ATSer's SHOULD know about Marfa. If they don't, they are missing an excellent lesson on plasma dynamics. The Marfa Lights are a very interesting phenomenon. I believe they are akin to ball lightning, emitted from the local mountaintops, created due to geological stressors.

WOOHOO go Marfa and ALPINE!

I use to go see the Marfa lights all the time, its kind of creepy.

but i remember when there werent so many people going out there, and when there wasnt a designated area to view them....


I often wonder whats going on back there and if Marfa is still even on the map. I heard the Mayor died in a helicopter crash, he was a good friend of the family.......course in marfa, everyone is friends of the family

They have been getting a lot of rain. Cotton should be bumper this year.
