Not 100% sure but perhaps it's when that particular copy was stamped and signed by Alvin T. Onaka.

Kind of takes the "original" right out doesn't it.
It's been made pretty clear, in this very thread, that any of us, regardless of where we were born, are capable of obtaining the same certification of live birth from Hawaii as Obama has provided as his evidence of birth place.
It's been made pretty clear, in this very thread, that any of us, regardless of where we were born, are capable of obtaining the same certification of live birth from Hawaii as Obama has provided as his evidence of birth place. It would be just as "legit" as his, and certified by the state of Hawaii. The only issue is that we weren't actually born there. To me, this recently produced document does not constitute proof of his birthplace. How could it, since any of us could get the same thing, no matter where we were born.

Hawaiian state law allows children born outside Hawaii get valid Hawaiian birth certificates
Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate.
The question still stands, why not simply show the original, and squash the whole subject?
