I looked on a Michael Jackson forum earlier and saw a video on the home page.

It is a video from the Rev Jesse jackson and music producer Raffles van Exel, giving a message to fans to stay strong. They say that seven MJ fans have commited suicide in seven hours after MJ's death.

I haven't heard anything on the news about this though?

Heres the link anyway.

www.mjjcommunity.com...

Has anyone heard anything? I read one report that a Russian MJ impersonater attempted to commit suicide by slashing his wrists, but nothing in the MSM about the seven fans.

It's on a few forums, and ordinarily i'd ignore it, but after seeing the video above, i thought i'd ask here.

Well those seven people suck.

What a world we live in when one can't live without an entertainer they never met.

That just goes to show the type of celebrity worship mentality the US is in right now. What a sad day for intelligent human beings.

Jesse Jackson has never said a truthful statement, so I can only assume the pompous idiot is making things up. Again. Maybe he is hoping for some more air time.

These people should have gotten a life, that did not include worshiping a pedophile.

And ONE MORE MICHAEL JACKSON thread, and I just might be the next one committing suicide (sarcasm).

Honestly this wouldn't surprise me. There are 7 less people using up my oxygen now. I feel sad for the families of these people. How sad it would be to lose a family member to suicide. Much less, suicide because of Michael Jacksons death.

All things happen for a reason. This is nothing more than a thinning of the herd.
This type of thing needs to be allowed to happen more often to thin out people like this. Again, the sympathy needs to be directed at the family. These people did what they wanted to do. They accomplished their goals. What about he mothers, daughters, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandmas and Grandpas left behind???

Obsessions can become deadly. Still I am highly doubtful of JJs words. I mean I know that MJ was worshiped for wrong or wrong but to kill ones self over it?

I mean when the dead go we are supposed to live on for others right?

Noooooo I do not believe JJ..... He is embellishing to make the event sound worse than it truly is.

If this is truth then I want proof!

Fair one, but if you watch the video, it's the music producer who says he phoned Jesse Jackson to tell him that seven fans had commited suicide, it's not Jesse Jackson making anything up i don't think.

Sounds to me like 7 people who were going to commit suicide anyway, and found a reason to commit too.

Unfortunately, the people who are really at risk of committing suicide usually never reach out for help... the ones who talk about it are the ones looking for attention.

Got one in my area too. Buddys girlfriend is a nurse and a guy came in, he had jumped out a 3rd story window to try and kill himself but wasent so lucky. Insead ended up with a broken back and in surgery. Plus they had to post a nurse with him for a suicide watch. He said that he couldnt live without MJ's insperation. Its not like he has put out a recent album or anything. Imnot sure whats driving all these idiots. Either I have never had a real hero in my life or else all these people running around crying and sleeping in front of his house and stuff have no lifes.

This could easily be true. Remember all the people who killed themselves over Kurt Cobain? He was a freakin heroin addict and people offed themselves!!!

Some people are morons. I have no sympathy for anyone who committs suicide.

The worlds a crappy place...true....but it's not worth dying over a GD celebrity who you don't even know!

He wasnt charged by his fellow piers. Who are you to judge? God?

No offense, but this sensitive man in his Golden throne was a target for many things.
He paid them off? That does not mean culpability. That only means he paid them off to get rid of the problem. He couldnt cope with the problem.
He simply wanted them to go away.

I can understand that.

And let God decide, eh?

Oh please, check this out:

MICHAEL JACKSON WAS NOT A PEDOPHILE

I have my opinion, you have yours. When I was younger, I liked his music. But............. the man admitted to sleeping with children in his bed.

Children that were not his. Children that he had no business having sleep in the same bed as he, a supposedly grown man.

You gonna think it is ok if your kids go sleep over in some grown mans bed? Even if the grown man claims "nothing happened"? Riiigghhtt

Not my kids.

Yes, I guess you could say let God deal with him. But when alive and in this world, he should not have gotten away with what he did, the only reason, the ONLY reason he did, was he had the money to pay the families off. And too many of his "peers" worshiped him, instead of God. Any NORMAL other person, would have spent time in prison and a life having to report due to pedophile actions.

Just because the man had money and people "his peers" worshiped him, did he get away with sleeping in the same bed as children that were not his own.

If my "sensitive" neighbor guy tries sleeping in the same bed as any children, he will be in a whole lot of trouble.

those who are shocked by this

and those who insult the dead for their choices are really out of touch with the way the world works today

and they have a lot to learn about human psychology

if true people took those actions

it has very little to do with personal choice

and everything to do with the psychological bombardment by the media and culture we live in today

and while media has a large part to play in this

it is also our culture that every human has created/allowed to be created that has allowed these people to be able to take those actions

instead of insulting the dead

why not use such mature vast intelligence you posses to come up with solutions to these problems?

like changing the way we value things and what our values as humans are

we have all made our beds, not just for ourselves, but every human alive, now we must lay in them, instead of simplistic statements lets try to be a little bit more like michael jackson and actually do things for our fellow man

like him or hate him, hes done more for the world then many of us "civilians" have ever dreamed, especially those civilians who are so quick to criticize and insult

this may be the wrong thread on this but the idea is bought up in every mj thread, so i wanted to post it here 1st then i will make a thread about what im talking about

but does anyone find it interesting that more and more lately

the media

and the US. mainly

but also the world

EVERYONE IS GUILTY until PROVEN innocent

and then they are still bashed like as if they were proven guilty

like the people or not

our system has found them innocent

yet publicly on a large scale these people are still bashed day in and day out over what is simply NOTHING MORE THEN SPECULATION

MJ and OJ are the 2 who come to mind instantly, i know theres many more

but its very annoying that everywhere in the media, in forums, in every day life

there are these obnoxious types of people who no matter what evidence there is or isnt

if someone is accused of something, then no matter what is shown in court, or even before court, thats the way it is

people really need to a get a grip on reality

here in the U.S.

its supposed to be innocent until proven guilty

but im very hard-pressed to find a single person or website or media outlet that goes by that motto

oH THINK WHAT YOU WANT.

I personally, come from a family where we hung out in the bedroom. We took naps together, talked, laughed, and none of it led to any touching.

That was Michaels hang out place. I can only imagine his bedroom is probably larger than my house itself.

He did not take anyone "to bed" to bed them, as it were, but you have a right to your judgements and i have a right to my sincere opinion.

If this country spent as much energy in straightening out things that matter, we wouldnt be in the mess we are in. Instead we are focusing on somebody who genuinely seemed to like kids.

To each their own.

He's dead. Happy?

There seems to be the misconception that Michael Jackson avoided being prosecuted by paying off the families. That is blatantly false. In the first incident, there were two separate trials, a civil trial and a criminal one. The civil trial was the one that was settled. The criminal trial was never pursued due to lack of evidence. In the United States, you cannot settle a criminal trial for a monetary value.

In this culture to take ones life over the death of an entertainer for any reason is moronic. I don't care how sensitive or cuddly or talented, it's still stupid and ignorant. Darwin Awards are made for people like this! I will loose not one wink of sleep over these fools!

If true, these people were probably severely depressed and suicidal to begin with. The death of Michael Jackson was likely an excuse for them to kill themselves, not the reason.

Suicide isn't the answer, of course, but for thousands of people a year in the U.S. alone, they see no way out and feel it is their only recourse.

Proof of Darwinian Evolution, lets hope these morons did not breed. Idiocracy at its finest! I feel no pain, sympathy, or empathy for these louts. Curse me if you will, but people like this are waste of carbon, water, and oxygen.
