Thank you for answer you pose a good point.

But what is truth and what is fact is almost never completely clear. I did think about that one. It's really all a matter of perspective in the end, what one accepts as truth.

I believe that the reason the truth is not clear is that truth is not a constant. It is ever changing. So I believe that to be truthful you need to be prepared accept that what was true a moment ago is not necessarily true now.

Some of my thoughts :

Aim to show compasion for your self and others equally.

Treat others as they like to be treated not the way you believe they should be. (But if in doubt it's a good start to treat others as you yourself would like to be treated.)

Aim to be loving and feeling loved everyday
