Yes technology has taken off so fast we cant keep up with it. The internet was never intended to be like it is, until windows came along.

This is a huge threat for our governments, including communist Countries.

They will put a ban on internet use. Maybe only for ebay, bill pay and online shopping. I think the Freedom part may soon be restricted.

I'm interested to know how old you are and how savvy you are with computers, software code, and the interwebs?

Long story short, it only moving so fast we can't keep up with it if you are NOT keeping up to it. If something severe comes down the pike, the average Tom Dick and Harry will not be able to do much, but there are many of us who will be able to get around practically anything they put up.

The fact remains, that when government and young people collide with technology, the government has no hope to keep up with us, as is evidenced by folks in Iran right now.

Do you mean cracking encrypted codes? I’m not that good at math to attempt it but I could learn and should probably do so now.

I know the Chinese cracked the cryptography computer codes.

I’d be so lost. I’m in my 20’s and my son can crack anything, legally speaking.

All I know is how to load and configure XP PRO and Vista, replace

computer parts like motherboards, ram, etc.

I think younger kids are sometimes smarter at cracking codes since online games have got so popular. They even send virus’s on purpose the little snots.

I have found online decoding sites. I should download one before SHTF.

Any suggestions? You can U2U me.

This is a very real threat...and I am concerned that even the smart young ones, and very experienced will still be caught in this Web.

It will be soon considered "terrorist" activity to set up a underground network as some have mentioned in this thread. Way before that the spread of information will have been impeded by the filtering and censoring!

Cybersecurity Is Framework For Total Government Regulation & Control Of Our Lives

Paul Joseph Watson & Kurt Nimmo
Monday, June 1, 2009

Essentially, this is the framework within which every aspect of our lives will be managed and regulated by a gargantuan government bureaucracy designed to control and shape every aspect of our behavior through our dependence on technology.

This is what Nancy Pelosi was referring to when she visited China last week and let slip the fact that “Every aspect of our lives must be subject to inventory” in order to fight global warming.

Under the cybersecurity grid, our electricity consumption, our water consumption and every other basic utility that we rely upon will be subject to state regulation.....

.....This is just the beginning of the imposition of a suffocating prison planet whereby our every action will not only be recorded by big brother but also subject to government approval and control.

The Cybersecurity grid will also be an upgrade of the pervasive snoop network that has already been operating under NSA auspices for decades.

Anyone who is not concerned about this...
well then they just have not thought it through.

Yes this is very serious. Just look at all that has happened in less than 7 months. I cant keep up with it all. Of course it's for best interest of the people, right!

They want to cut us all off from each other! Unfair and beyond Evil!

Well I'm in my 20's barely. I leave the tech stuff to my son. Do you mean cracking encrypted codes?

The cryptography math is over my head. I think the younger generation is up on it. They know how to send a virus intentionally and crack codes on gamers, not to mention their hacking ability.

I basically only install and config XP PRO and Vista operating systems, install ram and motherboards, fans, mess around in the bios a bit and change values in my registry. I’d be lost with an internet restriction and how to get around it. You can U2U me with some info??

Yes and it seems like the same group of people behind all of it!

www.computerweekly.com...

Rockefeller made cybersecurity one of his key issues as a member of the Senate intelligence committee, which he chaired until last year. He now heads the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, which will take up this bill.

I would look into hacking if you are interested in it, but caution is the name of the game in that regard.

Nevertheless, as long as the internet is up, sub-networks, workarounds, hacking, and all other manner of "terrorism" will escalate with the times. As the noose gets tighter, so will the resistance, as with all things.

There are simply too many people to control, via internet, food, police, movement, whatever. Whatever happens, I've got my nerves, my guns, and my friends.

Be informed, but also be educated. Information and knowledge are two very different things.

Shadow governments will stop at nothing to complete their sinister agenda. You have that right, as always.
