Errr no - you're quite wrong.
The stars you quoted are against a war in which the US will play a major part, exactly the same as me - I am against sending British servicemen to a war, but that does not make me want to hate my country.

Here in the UK Blair is starting to waver a little. The constant barrage of people telling him we don't want to blow up kids to line Bush's pockets with oil money has actually started to get to him.

I think the interview brought home just how little of the country is behind him on this one.

I don't get it - why does everyone get down on celebs, rightwing or leftwing? They vary as do board posters here - some much smarter and researched on the topic of which they speak than you, some dumber than a brick and sound bite rhetoric junkies....so what? Given the access to a soapbox to air your views that you feel strongly about, wouldn't YOU take it!?

James Woods would gladly take on any left-wing actor/singer/comedian for debate on National TV, since he's already scheduled for the Hannity/Colmes show on Fox.
