Department of Defense: Protests = Terrorism

pushliberty.blogspot.com

Anti-terrorism training materials currently being used by the Department of Defense (DoD) teach its personnel that free expression in the form of public protests should be regarded as "low level terrorism."

Protesting is now part of the effort in the war on Terror? What the hell. the war on Freedom rather! Protests are already rare in the US, now they are moving to make them simply criminal. This is outrageous and I hope everyone contacts their congressman to stop this nonsense, protesters are not terrorists!

Yes, Alex Jones has been beating his drum about this one for awhile.

Alas. Here it is from another source, now we can all believe it.

Thats it. This will be sufficient to shut us up for good.

But our government for the most part is coming to the defense of protesters in Iran.

Go figure.

So much more to say but I'd rather save my energy for the July 4th Tea Party protest up in San Antonio.

This and the moron from NJ trying to pass that bill disallowing firearm permits to anyone "labeled" a dometic terrorist. . .

I don't want to sound paranoid. I really don't get into the whole 'fear-mongering' that sometimes goes on around here, but. . . this # scares the hell out of me.

Dunno about anybody else but I don't like the way the wind is blowing.

". . . by the prickings of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes. . "

Macbeth (I think)

Eh, who the hell cares what the defense department of the Soviet Socialist states thinks anyways? It's not like they care about our rights. They want to take away our freedoms so people don't have us anymore.

This stinks. I still plan on going to protests and political rallies. I want to really get involved. I don't care what the Soviet Socialist government thinks.

That's right as long as you aren't protesting against America, it's freedom of speech and you wonder why most of the world doesn't give 2 s**ts what America thinks anymore.

i think anyone who wants to voice an opinion even some what opposing the government is pretty much labeled a terrorist now.

i worry from time to time that i have been labeled a terrorist simply because i believe we should be able to live our lives freely.

Before reading your post, that was the same exact thing I was thinking about, but as we know is only to be tagged here in our own nation as homegrown terrorism, that is why it surprised me when so much propaganda is been played day in and day out about the Protest in Iran.

But hey I see Iran having more liberties than the ones we enjoy here under the watchful eye of big brother, it seems Freedom of expression in Iran has nothing to do with been a free nation, but a natural right.

Funny coming from a country that we have been drilled to be a totalitarian theocracy still in the middle ages.

But anybody that knows the political make up of the Iran nation knows that they are far from medieval and outdated.

Interesting.

So if I think I understand this correctly the only way that as an American citizen I can protest against the politics of the administration, is to...

Lend my vocal support for the opposition party in a foreign country's tainted and questioned electoral process who is against the people who are against a U.S. Administration even though they themselves have not announced they are any more in favor of the U.S. Administration that the political power that is in power in that nation they are demonstrating against?

Well, ok that's a complex system but I am good with logistics!

I would just like to point out as a fun loving, free spirited American citizen that if I ever do decide to terrorize my government there ain't going to be anything low level about it!

What do I look like an Iranian!

Now let's see where did I leave those Barry Manilow records, it's obviously time to take off the kids gloves, I will warn the administration fair and square, I have Debbie Boone's "You light up my Life" Album in the closet and I will use if if I have too...well just as soon as I get my turntable working!

Live free or annoy the heck out of people trying!

Many Americans are becoming too vocal they are not getting caught up anymore in the media circus and propaganda, they see everything for what it is, hypocrisy.

ATS is not a place that our government is very happy about.

And I think Dg that this what makes the government so scare about, the possibility that looking at those countries tagged, totalitarian and lacking human rights raising to show that they indeed have spontaneous freedom of speech and that they are freely protesting without permission from their government.

Incredible.
