A Denver police officer has been suspended after allegedly brandishing his gun at a McDonald's restaurant in Aurora after his order took too long to fill.
A spokesperson for the police dept. said they plan to present the case -- now classified as a felony menacing incident -- to the District Attorney's Office for possible filing of criminal charges. the employee said the men became agitated and angry at how long their food was taking.

It's actually an unwritten rule that a story can exist in the "Breaking alternative news" and another category.

You're fine... nice catch on the story

Just another example of the wrong people having too much power if you ask me.

Never said it was. Just thought it would be easier to add to one that already existed. No harm intended.

what would happen if I pointed a gun in a McDonald's drive through window?Shouldn't cops be held to a higher standard and subject to harsher punishments?Instead they are let off with a warning, suspended with pay,put on desk duty or some such nonsense.Their word is always taken as truth in a court of law and unless you are on video you are subject to their personality disorders without protection. The police slogan used to be to serve and protect now it should be shut up and do as I say or else!

Well...

This is perfectly normal behaviour from cops these days - it is too be expected.

I don't see why everyone is so shocked that the expected occurred....

Get used to it. It's the New Freedom.

Can you show some more examples that are similar to this?

Meaning a cop using his position of power to hurry up a purchase.

It would be funny if that was a scene in a movie and not real life. True story, the Daytona Beach police department fired a longtime cop in 2008 who has a LONG history of bullying and assaulting hookers, transients and the general public. What got him fired? Getting caught on camera shaking down Krispy Kreme for free food and coffee on his shifts.

I've been to that McDonalds in Aurora. Based on the service I got at the drive thru, while I cannot condone such behavior, I can see how the incident could have happened.
