Lawrence Gardener has written a fascinating book on the subject of the lost ark and it's purpose.
For those who would seek definitions of the word Ark he goes into a great deal of detail.
I found this to be a remarkable book along with graham hancocks contribution.
I've yet to come across these in PDF online but I highly recommend anyone that is interested in the subject buy a copy used and enjoy the read.
Here's a clip of Gardener discussing what he believes is the purpose of the Ark .
Nevertheless I still think this "Ark to be reveald" is nothing but a scam to try an keep ethopia on the map and grab some easy cash .

but... I think people are wondering why a box with rocks would also be called an arc.
Well that's not stylish now is it? If the Israelite's went around claiming they had a box of the covenant, no one would care, an Arc, however denotes power.
as in why not the Box of the Covenant.
or more elegantly...
The Case of the Covenant ... maybe too sherlock holmes

Actually, if one studies the original, Sumerian texts of Creation, that are THOUSANDS of years older then the Bible, one will easily find that the above quoted statements are quite accurate, either some people wants it to be or not.
Enki was indeed written as the Creator of "modern" Man, and also as being the protector of the Creation.
