Your fear was somewhat overrated obviously

Fair play to Justin for a convincing scenario

Im called to mind a certain radio play by a young Orson Wells and its reaction in the US .....

Once again its about IGNORANCE and a simple ability to separate drama from reality

i and many others believe he gets what he deserves.

running it in conjunction with serious security drills in the us was bad taste.

imo, War Of The Worlds was much more obvious that it was fantasy in that it was about an alien invasion, no?
i'm sure if this comic were about disclosure via alien invasion...a lot more people would have been believing it was fiction (probably from the beginning-thus avoiding this mess altogether)
this story MAY be fictional, but many aspects of the comic were and are NOT fictional so it is easy for one who knows of these things to believe it. to me, the situations were so close to life that it was purposely made to be indistinguishable (for many) from reality...until of course the event passes with no such incident...because it was set at a close point in the future and there were codes negating the "this is fiction" disclaimer...you can't really blame to call stupid on anyone for believing it...even for a second...even NOW...
fact is that many situations in that comic will come to pass, even if not all at once or in the way that the comic says.

Well I didnt know you had security drills running - sorry but they wer'nt big news outside the good ole US of A.

Its kind of arrogant to think that some journalist in the UK should temper his creative flow just because the US has some sort of war game going on - or am i being insensitive ?

Well I might point you in the direction of the book Resurrection Day - a book written before 9/11 - which predicts an attack on Washington DC with a biological weapon.

Art often reflects life and vice versa - I saw the connections to the Lone Gunmen episode - I have also seen Chris Carter speaking about that episode and his reactions on 9/11

I agree, I think this thread should be closed as well. I have read almost every page on this thread. I was mad about this whole thing at first when the game was over, but now I'm over it.

I think it's time to move on from this before someone comes up with the idea of kiddnapping JW and doing mean things to him.

Temper his creative flow? It isn't like he didn't KNOW about the military drills. He referenced directly to them. Adent Sentry. He made OBVIOUS references to beware them that they had something to do with it.

I'm getting bloody tired of people using the "This is fiction" remark to justify this. It does not justify it at all because of the fact the they CONTRADICTED THAT STATEMENT WITHIN! How hard is this to understand? How hard is this to now see where we stand?

The point is, this Justin Williams character, if he indeed created the original Blackjack, did it with entertainment purposes in mind. As time got close, he included, intentionally I might add, elements that would lead people to suspect that this might have been more than fiction.

Not only that, but he updated things to coincide with current events, and used other current events to instill fear even more. This wasn't a game.
Allow me to type this so everyone can see this:

THIS WAS NOT A GAME.

A game is something you play that has a goal, a purpose, an ending. This has no goal, this has no purpose, this has no ending. The fact of the matter is plain and simple: this was created to instill fear and they KNEW IT. They have made it perfectly clear that they knew it.

Now, I don't know where this is going to go, but for those people who were effected greatly by this, perhaps those that felt strongly enough to leave their homes than I say this:

There should no doubt be a public apology on behalf of the Telegraph and Justin Williams for this whole ordeal. If there is not, then you can be rest assured that people will not let it rest and if anything, the Telegraph is going to lose any shred of credibility that it once may have had.

I don't think you get it.

Yes it said it was "fiction" until the last minute where it said "This is not simply entertainment."

So stop backing terrorist like minds of dumb people who think stuff like this is funny in the world we live in today.

excuse me Clouds but if you were paying attention you would know I have been involved in this thread since the beginning. Yah I may be new so what.

Look back in the thread.
I live in portland oregon, I am an army vet from the first gulf war and physically disabled.
All I said was I found it all interesting. If you want to start an issue with me go ahead, but I refuse to feed into your crap.
If you don't like this issue go to another thread. This is a thread about operation blackjack, and others (besides you) may want to know about the other sites so they dont have to waste there time like I am doing.

I really think you have pushed the wrong woman here. You were all new at one time.......

Can we all act civil? I don't know why people are being mean to the new people on this thread, but it has got to stop now. Everyone is here with a common goal, to seek the truth.

Everyone is also intitle to there own opinion as well.

Man, it said it was for entertainment purposes and complete fiction. The guy even made it a cartoon comic, to make a more concrete statement that it was for entertainment.

The thread should not be closed.

Since some people started biting on the hidden clues, it made for a perfect scenario to have some fun and play a joke on a certain conspiracy minded group of people (us).

No apology is needed in my opinion.

IT IS A GAME, A GAME THAT HAS ENDED.

We can still discuss it all day long, thank you.

I was just "loosly" following this since Friday or so, and I looked at all the sites linked...

I agree. This was NOT a game.

This WAS a "test" that coincided with a NORTHCOM exercise.

Some on this thread claim "pass" because they figured out about Mr. Williams' level of involvement.

Some have claimed that the very interest in this topic, initially sparked by some slick cryptography... may have the posters writing about "Blackjack" in the various threads on various boards on a "list" now...

I'm not convinced I wouldn't say "fail", were I a member of TPTB.

Any questions?

By the by, last I checked, (oh yes, I'll still watch the show...) the JB14 site had an image with a phrase from Rev. about the AC.

www.jackblack14.info...

It's still interesting, at least.

No, Valente, it is not over. You little smart*ass. I hope you get all that is coming to you. I know some people who have contacted the police to see if any charges can be brought against you.

As gwydionblack pointed out, ''it made the claim ITSELF that it was real. Coupling that with a countdown and a series of locations and warnings'', of several nuclear attacks for goodness sakes.

I think that you are in a bit of trouble here Justin and I hope that you get all that you deserve....

Exactly, terror drills do not affect free speech, and conspiracy games. When they do, that is called martial law.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems he cleared this up MONTHS ago, the intention of this, and what the plans were for this whole "conspiracy".

If you took it any farther, you only have yourself to blame...this whole story should have died months ago. Most of the people who kept this alive wanted this story to be true so bad, and that it's the only reason people are pissed now.

Come on man!! You really think that this guy should get in trouble for having a little fun on your behalf? Grow up, and try denying some ignorance.

Why not you try to deny a little yourself?

If this is simply OK to do whenever, however, whatever, when it comes to this situations - what happens when other start doing, huh?

What happens when we have 15 "Operation Blackjacks" going on at once and people get so disallusioned by the "game" that they pass up something that could be real, something that might be a legitamate warning?

I'm not sure what world you live in but with the state of it today, I take what I can as a warning, and save the games for when I have some kind of proof. Something like this is not only possible, but it is PROBABLE in the world today - that is the difference. That is what makes this personal.

No one deserves to have "fun" off of other peoples suffering.
