Humanity is not evil, that's not what I think. I think we have a focus on bad than we do good in our society. When a good deed is done, it goes unnoticed but when something terrible happens then it gets worldwide attention. Everything in the universe has an opposing force, humanity (IMO) focuses on the opposing side which gives you the idea that murder, thievery, etc is our nature.

Very true. You can argue that focus on evil is actually what creates evil too.
