So in a rage he had the presence of mind to go over and take his Dad's shoes, gloves and hat in order to make his Dad look guilty?
I watched the documentary and it seems like he was much more likely to harm himself than others. His problems most likely came from living with an abusive father who was abusive to him and his wives. Most mental disorders are inherited so this makes it likely that this came form O.J. As for being abusive to women he learned that behavior from his father. This not unheard of, most men who grow up watching their father beat and disrespect women grow up to do the same. Rage could come from his dad, his upbringing, his own abuse and watching abuse and growing up with a rich famous father, again this is all very common when talking about rich or celebrity children.

Sorry just meant the hat doc says O.J. was wearing the other stuff. But really the guy in the doc think he threw the bag out the window on the way to the airport? I think it would have been found if that was the case. I don't know what happened to the weapon and clothes but I don't think this is what did. The documentary also fail to mentions the multiple stab wounds Nicole had it made it sound like she only had the one on top of her head and the three fatal slice to her neck, this was not the case at all.

Very interesting info on Jason.I never heard about any of this and I read everything ,watched everything kept up with everything because I love trying to solve mysteries ....

A few things stick out from watching the Vid with the Investigator that should be enough for someone to take seriously and at least investigate into it more .Was there anything on the knife (like dried blood stains).....
If the police went to Jason even now I bet he would crack and tell because unstable people cannot contain guilt .....he would tell if pressured enough .
My son tells everything he does bad and good without pressure even and he is mental (unstable) .....

Some other things is ...When the Investigator was watching Jason after the crime Jason opened the roof on the Jeep so it would rain all over inside (making sure all the blood would get rained on and disappear).I find that to be very compelling evidence on its own ...

And of course all the times Jason is seen wearing the ski hat in his personal pictures.I know men who have several of these kinds of hats and they wear them everyday .....everywhere they go ...(is like a binky to them lol) .........
So that could have been his hat he dropped at the scene in the scuffle ...(proves to me he was there alright and so was his Jeep)..

Also the Time Card (penciled in)Is very suspicious ...
And the knife found in his personal stuff is hard to ignore.

The poster above mentioned that Nicole not showing up for his night of cooking for them at the cafe... ...doesnt seem serious enough to me for even a real nutter to go over the edge about and hack up two people over .Especially someone you considered you mom (stepmom) .So the Motive doesnt work for me ....

I still say OJ had something to do with it ....maybe Jason did the dirty work for his dad (which would put them both in on it) ..

Great investigating TheMythLives......loved reading everyones answers too.

I always thought OJ and his lawyers made a pact with the devil, thats why cochran and kardashian were dead shortly after winning the trial of the century and OJ is back in jail. What do you guys think?

Hmm..

Did anyone notice that the poster on this thread "Melissa09" only has 7 posts total since 1999.

All 7 posts are in this thread. Is this Jason trying to sway public opinion?

Jason Simpson = Melissa09?

lol

I firmly believed that OJ was guilty. After the trial, I did a lot of reading and research like many people did. I now believe that Jason played a huge role in these murders. It is possible he had a love crush on Nicole. She had been taking him out on the scene with her, and perhaps he thought there was more to it, and she had to shut him down. He runs into Ron at Nicole's and goes ballistic.

I actually think it was Jason and my family talked about this during the trial. It is just odd that I saw this thread. I haven't heard many people say that before. Actually no people before this thread.

I think that only three people in the world know exactly what happened that night, and two of them are dead.

S&F

Very good read, can't wait to read the rest of them.

I'm pretty sure Jason Simpson did it, all this only enforces that. I just don't see why OJ would have done this, one could argue that with the recent events(Well not so recent I guess but most recent involving OJ) he's the type of person to do crimes on a whim, but what he got caught for, and these brutal murders are a far stretch between each other.

TheMythLives : I stumbled across your thread a couple hours ago and want to tell you how impressed I am with the very strong case that you make for someone other than OJ being the murderer. I was in high school when this occurred and somewhat of a legal buff back then; after examining all of the evidence I never believed OJ committed the murders.

The one area that I have never been able to uncover enough information is the background of Ron Goldman and any documentation of notorious activities that he was associated. Might you or anyone else reading this help fill in the blanks?

Also, has anyone looked into the murders / attempted murders of other employees of Mezaluna? I've discovered some peripheral information about this but not to my satisfaction.

It is good to see that people like you are able to re-examine the case with an open mind; that seems to be such an admirable trait yet so rare in today's society.

I just hope Judge Linda Marie Bell does what former Judge Jackie Glass failed to do... when is Judge Bell finally going to issue her opinion...

Nice post. It must have taken you a lot of time to put this OP together. S and F for that.

I disagree with your summation.

I always thought OJ was the murderer. I felt that way for years. I was 9 months pregnant and at home during the "Bronco chase". My baby boy was actually born on the 19th of June. I watched the entire trial every day with Greta Van Sustren providing the commentary on CNN. I literally sat on the floor and bawled my eyes out when the jury came back with the "not guilty" verdict.

Oh and I remember the brou ha ha when they announced there was a verdict. This is really sick, but when it was televised that there had been a verdict after only three hours, I was ecstatic. I even called Marsh Clark's office and left a message on voice mail about how she didi it!!! The guilty verdict was coming!!!!

That is how engrossed I was with the case.

But, it wasn't until I saw "OJ is guilty but not of Murder" video by that private investigator that definatively identifies Jason as the murderer. It makes so much sense. OJ had been supporting that kid and paying for his medication.

There was an error in your OP. Jason's younger brother that drowned in the pool was not from Niclole but from his first wife Marguerite.

I found an affinity for OJ when I realized that he took the hit for his kid's actions. He protected that boy, and went balls to the wall. He lost everything to save his son. I am not saying it is right, or that OJ was perfect, but this man sacrificed everything he had going in his life to save his son.

It is awesome to read your post about your open-minded journey from guilty to not guilty. If you really want to cement your stance, I'd highly recommend Bill Dear's book about his investigation; it goes into specifics that the documentary doesn't touch. I read it over the winter.

I will do that. I noticed that the videos had been removed from youtube after the publishing of the book. Thanks for the OP

Since this very interesting (at a minimum) thread was written has anyone found anything out about Jason's life since the trial? Any recent news on his activities or lifestyle? I'd recommend that anyone interested in the Simpson case read this thread or at least the first page. Classic cases never get old (Lincoln's murder, JFK, etc.)

I agree it's a great book but I think Dear made a mistake. I think OJ knew nothing about the murders, and
it was all on Jason.

Nothing definite. I have heard he is married and is either in Atlantish-areas or in Florida.

A couple of years ago some news organization tried to get a quote from him about Bill Dear's book,
but his phone was disconnected, whatever that might imply.

What are your current thoughts about the case?
