WTH

Were there any witnesses. I would think the recent Dragonfly crop circle would attract attention and there would be some sort of surveillance of the field.

I'm not a believer of the man-made theory. I think these crop circles are alien.

it's not of alien origin. f you think so you discredit our artistic space brothers and sisters. I am an artist, and those are some of the worst flames I've ever seen. I Know that people who are not artists have the hardest time drawing decent looking flames, and if this were done by some extra teresstrial entity, they would have used some kind of plotting device to blast the design into the crops, based off of some sort of logo/stencil of the picture. The flames would have been nicer, I'm sure of it.

This circle could be referencing Nibiru. Look at the second to last post on this page.

I still believe these are all man-made. There are shows that film people making them. There are crop circle making groups with website that are professionally sponsored. There has been exactly 0 sightings of UFOs making these.

I think if aliens were to leave us messages, it wouldn't be in corn. And it would be so alien, we'd be amazed and just know it wasn't something we made. Instead, we keep seeing designs that we know. And this latest one? A phoenix. Why would an alien even know about a mythical animal to slap a design of it in some field?

Just don't buy it...

Two threads are allowed on any topic on ATS. One thread in the news forums and one thread in the proper forum.

The thread you linked to is in the news forum. This thread is in the proper forum, A&U.

Hope that clears things up.

These three statements are not true, and is based lies. There are videos of ships and orbs making them. The man made ones do not resemble in complexity or nature the totality of crop circles, in fact a small percentage. And I fail to see why people would need to be so complex for a free website fame and glory is a world where you must compete for fame and glory to survive. These is little money in these websites.

I think you might be deluding yourself. Crop circles are real, there is much evidence that proves they are not a hoax. But I do not have the time to convince you, I am just responding to the disinformation aspect of this post.

Non they are recognised as flames, and there might be a symbolic nature there based on ancient history in other icons before there were computers. By hand, they would be good flames.

I'm fairly in agreement with Fleabit. It's a man-made cereal artwork
You can see the techniques the artists used and it clearly involved some extensive planning beforehand. We'll never know who did it because the police would be interested. A nice bit of graff on the side of a train can lead to jail time. £1000s in damage would do the same.

Looking at how they accomplished it, I'd say only a space cadet would doubt that they've done a few before this one. They've used a bisector sight line to ensure the symmetry and at least two centre points to accomplish accurate wings and body

They could be from man made satellite just testing, cough , cough, but i wouldn't fear anything of it, its harmless enough. Just nasa and the military having fun with ufologists again.

Until you have proof in the order of a video that shows humans making these crop circles I'll have to believe that something else made them.

Please point me to a video then, of a UFO making a crop circle. And I hope you don't point me to the known hoax, admitted to by the creator, which was created in a studio. That's the "orb" one, and the only video I've ever seen of a 'ufo' making a crop circle, and it ended up being a fake.

Of course crop circles are real. The question is who creates them? You don't think man-made ones are possible? I watched two guys with ropes and planks make one that was hailed as a great crop circle with hidden meaning. Multiple circles, and they were all divisible by the # 3. People were creating tons of theories about why, and said the exact same thing you are: There is no waaay a mere human could make it.

Well, then the special came out. They time-lapsed themselves making it. They used the irrigation channels as guidelines (those lines in all fields where these appear). Ironically, they are spaced 6 feet apart, which is why their creation was divisible by the number 3. They were fairly amused at how they heard it was impossible, and how only aliens with deep meaning could have made it.

So yes, humans are quite capable of making complex art in fields using simple tools. I've seen them do it. I've never seen a valid video of UFOs carving these videos into fields.

And I don't spread disinfo, I try to spread common sense. I happen to believe in UFOs, Roswell, and more. I just think aspects like this are bunk, and distract from the real meat of ufology. I think there has been one crop circle I thought was legit. A simple circle one, a small one, on an out of the way farm, not near any highways. Radioactive readings were positive. I think THAT was an actual 'crop circle' perhaps made by curious visitors whose corn supply was perhaps running low.

Dude, open up the first image linked. Okay? I'll explain how you can tell humans probably did it. There are two center points that are used to make a sight line. Look at the phoenix' head. You can see one center point there. The center point is where you stick your pole in. Now using a rope attached to the post and a foot board the first circle can be made.

The 2nd center point is lower down on the belly of the bird. I think this one was done first but it's irrelevant. Repeat the pole, rope foot board process. Now you can sight between the two center points to get your bisector...the line of symmetry. This second center point has clearly been used to form a circle that dictates where the wings begin.

If we return to the head center point, it's clearly the point from where the wings were designed. Again a rope is used from the center to ensure a clean circle.

The center point for the circle that encloses the design is actually built in to the design. Clever guys! The circle that surrounds the bird's head crosses the bisector at the center point for creating the largest circle. The whole thing has been superbly designed to ensure success.

Have a look at the 'tail.' Use a straightedge to follow the line of each side. Clever huh? They bisect the center point on the belly of the bird.

It's well organized and planned. They have the equipment, experience and a guy on board that's probably got at least BAhons in graphic design or fine art. What dya reckon? Pretty clever guys?
