Well would you expect them to look like us. Check out the big image upside down, there are aliens peeking around corners of rocks as well and looking like the typical greys.

The OP didn't ask if we believed in aliens, just if we could see the same shapes as him. Those are the shapes I am seeing.

PS, it also looks like they are inside a hole and the one getting his head pushed down looks like he is screaming out.

I was about to joke that yeah I also see an elephant seal on the left...

But there is actually a lot of detail in this little family. It's a bit much to be immediately dismissed as a teddy bear in the clouds.

There are fingers on the hands pushing or holding the child's head.

There are 3 or maybe 4 individuals looking like they are hiding or at least in a protective position.

It certainly looks like an adult and kids.

Good find. I'm not sure what it is, but it's worth a gander

Thanks for your help ahimsa.

I didn't notice the other little guy until you pointed him out. I call them aliens because if they are real thats what they would have to be. I firmly believe its not an illusion in the shapes.
Wether others do, remains to be seen, but one things for sure, it don't hurt to check it out.

Thanks Trusername,

I appreciate your checking it out, I don't post things which I consider useless items.

I'm very interested in all aspects of science and do my best to avoid ignorance.

It also looks at first like the big head is blending into the sand / dirt. But if you look closer, I think it's blurred. Like it's moved. And something behind it can be seen through the blur a little.

So I think it is in front of the dirt. Not just an imprint into the sand playing with our eyes.

Or maybe it is - but it would be nice if people who know how could do the magic that they do with the image so we could see stuff like depth and blur etc.

ahem... internos... phage... armap... Mike... you guys busy? wanna take a look at our ink blot?

No it doesn't mean you have a low iq, it means you need to look over the image for a while.

One thing I do when studying detail that helps me a lot is to look at the image then look away then allow your eyes to refocus.

As to some else's suggestion of Paradoila, my spelling sucks, but what the heck, one of the primary tests for it is if you can see the man in the moon, if a person doesn't that indicates they have a good eye for detail. I am very used to picking up detail, my hobby since I was 12 is astronomy and have been able too see some of the more subtle details that an astronomer looks for, whether or not he is pro or amateur.

I see 'em, I guess that means we're both crazy. I have seen these in quite a few of the Mars pics. You almost have to look at any photo released by NASA as an inkblot test because I think that is how they would like them to appear.
I believe it was last month someone posted some moon photos that had the fake horizons removed in the landscape and it really opened my eyes as to how far TPTB have gone to pull the wool over the sheep's eyes so to speak. Information that is as big as space and time travel and all the other crap that we're paying for to be developed for the use of war, when these kinds of things should be available to all nations for the betterment of mankind and not just kept in a bottle. S&F for the guts of posting a thread like this when so many are quick to shout Deny Ignorance, but what if huh...anyway it looks cool and you are certainly not the only one to have noticed these things.

Yes I agree, lets see someone come in and do the magic.

I am really impressed with this image, I've looked at it many times, but not until tonight did I try it upside down, there are many anomalous things in the larger image as well in the upside down mode.

Thanks very much for taking the time to look at it closely. I also appreciate your comments, guts, you don't need guts when you live in a free country. I hope! Just kidding, the image is posted publically by nasa and available for downloading. By the way thanks to Nasa for the image had a heck of a time starting the post and didn't get a chance to give them credit. Also Jpl I guess, If I forgot anyone I'll clear tha up shortly.

There was a report yesterday on NPR with a NASA rep and the reporter was saying "Ha Ha... I just have to ask, Ha Ha, some people are convinced there's a coverup. Ha Ha what do you say to people like that if they ever ask you?" and the guy said "Oh they ask me all the time! And all I can say to that is (hesitated) NO, there is nothing. If we found anything, don't you think we'd want to tell everyone? It would be wonderful for NASA and SETI and funding etc."

And I thought to myself... "er... Not if someone was paying you more to be quiet - so the masses didn't freak out."

But of course the reporter didn't say that. sigh.

About the picture - do you think the big headed one has legs bent and tucked in? Or do you think those legs are part of someone / thing next to it?

Umm... OP said "Notice there seems to be aspects of this crop which relate to alien beings of some sort."

Granted that's not asking us if we believe in aliens, it's actually asking "Do you see aliens in this photo because I think I do?

I don’t see any aliens. I never have seen an alien though so I am not an expert.

I have however lived in the presence of dirt and rock my whole life. I can identify those without speculating.

Hi Whiskeypoet,

Thats fair enough, its certainly nicer that accusing someone of seeing make believe faces.

You are correct, I wasn't sure myself, thats why its posted here to get the experts opinions,

I could have blown up the pic adjusted lighting etc, but then it wouldn't be original, mind you I did have to look at it upside down though. Maybe I see better upside than right side up. Must be a name for that.

Thanks for checking it out, much appreciated.

Yes I did but not as an upside down one and the topic didn't match what I was curious about.

Thanks for the link fix, much obliged.
