For the past couple of weeks now i've had some trouble sleeping because when i'm in bed I constantly get that strong urge of a "presence" you know, that feeling you get where you could swear that if you opened your eyes, you'd see someone staring at you?

This is something that has been happening more and more recently. I had a few incidents where I felt a distinct presence upon waking. Specifically last night. I actually woke up because I thought I felt someone standing over me. This happened at least 4-5 times. Once my eyes would adjust, it would fade into the curtains. I am not sure if I was in a dream state or in-between conciousness but what I was seeing was a man with long hair, in a sort of tribal robe, wearing peculiar beads. Definite Native American vibe in this one. I find that particularly interesting because we are direct descendants of the Souix tribe. The native blood on my mothers side is very strong.

Unfortunately I didn't get any clear message (as usual
). It was definitely unsettling but I wasn't scared like I normally am when I wake up like that. Hopefully a good omen for a change!

Hey blujay

It's funny you should mention that. I think that in the OP, I had stated that the nuance of the "sleep phenomenon" would be that it was indeed ET in nature. That's according to predictions of fruity cakes though. Hmmmm. I do buy into that on some level, despite the source. I do wonder though what really is causing this. It could be the earth (or universe) itself or a specific external life force.

Yes, yes, yes that is EXACTLY how I am feeling too! I feel like it's on the tip on my tongue but I can't quite get there. It feels familiar and yet I look around at people I work with and it's like they don't know any different. I don't know how long this panic worry feeling is going to last, it disturbs me because I feel if I am on a specific path then I should be feeling more at peace instead I feel hurried all the time.

Well, I finally passed the threshold of the fruity cakes! I can actually understand where they are coming from now. Took awhile though, before all this awakening stuff, I was kind of like some of the skeptics here... you know, if you couldn't prove it to me, then it didn't exist/happen. I know you aren't saying that, but it astounds me how far over the edge I have become! But the view is quite nice from here, I think I'll stay.

edit to add that it seems the man in the robe you saw could be one of your guides...

edit again to add: you said it has been happening more and more lately, and lately you have been on this board trying to figure things out. He could be appearing more now that you are awaking more. If you can, maybe try to communicate ...

Ha ha! I've always been a borderline fruity cake, so I promise I'm not throwing stones (unless they are aimed for my own head
). I've always been extremely open-minded to the paranormal and other 'possibilities' of the universe. I have always deeply believed that there is so much more going on than what meets the eye. I've had sufficient evidence of this during my life.

What I find baffling about all this is that it's truly become a test of sanity. The fragility of our reality is becoming apparent and it's disconcerting to say the least! In addition, I cannot shake the feeling of what will be leading up to the "zero point". Even if it does turn out as we all hope (a union of all things on the spirit level, etc), no one can really be naive enough to expect that we will not have to cross through hell to get there.......
I have been experiencing more instances where I have a sense of calm. Again, that is the exception and not the rule, unfortunately. Though I feel I'm coming closer to the answer, I have the distinct feeling that my destiny/the universe (or whatever) has a great deal in store for me. It's the calm before the storm as far as I can tell.

Regarding sleep disturbances, I have been feeling as if someone is waking me up and of course, no one really is. I just have the sense of some force being there, interfering. Tugging at my subconcious maybe. Hard to explain. Happily I report that I slept a great deal over the weekend, a whole lot more than I have in a long time. Odd, as we have all heard the flipside reports of people sleeping much more than usual........so I will keep updating

I'll just update this thread that as of the past two to three weeks I have been sleeping much better. I think I am pretty much back to normal: out like a light, and sleep through until the alarm goes off. I do think the quality of sleep seems to be a bit weak lately and occurrence of vivid dreams seem to be on the rise, but it is solid sleep nonetheless.

Lately I have noticed i have been able to tell a persons true intentions or emotions without really even talking to them or knowing them. Dont laugh but im serious I think we humans are evolving. I have been experiencing sleep loss and havent been getting to sleep until about 5 or 6am and i wake up around 6 or 7 pm the next day. I also get sick to my stomach when i go out in the sun. Not saying that to indicate a vampire cause i know im not one lol. Its just i get really sick when i go in the sun.

Hey lycan! Welcome to the thread!

What you are describing are empath traits. There are different levels of intensity of course. I've experienced what you are describing for my entire life so it's hard to remain impartial. I will say this though, I do believe that individuals that are being stirred in this "awakening" (or whatever you want to call it) are absolutely going to show increased sensitivity and ability. It's the natural progression. Not always pleasant either, I'm sorry to report! Best of luck on this bizarre journey~~~

It sure is a test of our sanity! I've just gone through a dip in my ablility to keep a grasp on both worlds I feel I am living in. I am happy to say I am back on track.

I believe we are heading for a ride, but will it be a turbulent, bumpy flight or will we sail along on our pristine boats right through to the sunrise? My gut feels the turbulence already. Reminds me of the song Jetairliner by the Steve Miller Band... that verse - "you know you've got to go through hell before you get to heaven" Zero point, here we come!

Sleep has been good to me lately with lot's of dreams. Last night my dog that has since passed, was in my dream leading through this whole scenario... if I could just recall what was going on!

While I don't get sick to my stomach, I do find the days to be WAY brighter than they once were, and I can't be too long in the sun or my skin starts crackling.

Just wanted you to know that I have been, as of today, sleepless for four nights (and days) in a row.
I've always had trouble sleeping at night, but now, forthe past few months, I've been more or less unable to sleep during the day as well. Sometimes I feel nauseous with sleepiness, but just cannot sleep. Yet I am not sick, never have been. And my mind works just fine, although I haven't been feeling like myself fr the past few days - I feel pychologically totally alienated from my former self. Very unsettling, and I am not sure where it's going.

Same thing with another person I know, a genius, really, but she also never was a regular sleeper and is often kept awake by her brainstorms.

But that's it. I don't hear of any other people having these troubles except here - duh!

So, all in all, I have trouble believeing anything is afoot. Globally, I mean - except maybe the usual solar spots and other activity, something like that?

But it's an interesting post, and very timely considering my own situation.

Still not sleepy, though...

Afterthought:

COULD IT BE RELATED TO THE UNUSUALLY HIGH (AND FLUCTUATING) TEMPERATURES?

(I used caps so this particular thought doesn't get overlooked.
)

I have always had sleeping issues, I'm a world champion insomniac from childhood. Lately, though it's not the same, before I would just be awake and after a day or two I could sleep. Now I'm pushing 3 days, and sleeping maybe 4 hrs when I do get to sleep. I don't feel bad for it, as you would think, at least physically. I can't attest to "seeing the world different" as I already had in my own way, but I feel a major shift in urgency, like something is saying " you are out of time" whether it's for me personally or everything in general, I don't know, I'm not a psychic, shaman etc. My dreams have been odd as of late as well, I usually have comical, slapstick dreams but they are taking a darker turn as of late.

Totally, TOTALLY my own situation!
(Except that I do actually have strong predictive capacities - and that, my friends, includes the lottery.
)

Everyhing else, every detail... I might have written it myself.

I know this post doesn't really add anything new but I thought I would post it anyway just to corroborate the experience.

Just checking in to see if there were any new developments~~~

My sleeping patterns are definitely getting worse it seems. I cannot sleep for more than 2 hours without waking up and freaking out for one reason or another. My husband has been having problems as well, which is really peculiar. He was always one of those people that could sleep through anything. No trouble ever with falling asleep or staying asleep. For the last month, he's been having tremendous difficulty. Even he has to admit it's strange, as he's never, ever experienced anything like this before. He wakes up around 2am every night. I noticed that many of us were having specific times when we would wake up pretty consistently. For me it's basically every hour and every half hour on a really bad night

The new webbot report is out and I'm very curious to see if there are more references to the sleep phenomenon. Remember back in 1309, they indicated that the sleep problems would begin with individuals that were very 'sensitive' and perceptive, then it would begin to spread out over the population. We are beginning to see this happen now. Let's also not forget that they said that it would be completely ET in nature and have something to do with the solar system.

The data sets show that
the [sleep pattern disturbances] will [creep] through the
[populace] as [strength (of unknown energies from space)]
increases. At the moment, the GlobalPop entity is indicating that
it is the [extremely refined/sensitive] humans and animals that are
experiencing it now, and the lesser aware segments of planetary
life will gradually be overtaken by these same [symptoms]. This
area *is* heavily involved in the [disease] sub set that appears
with a burst in Fall 2009, and while it will be conceptually
[disease] linked for some time, the cause of the [mass sleep pattern disturbance] is entirely extra solar system in origin.
Further the increase in [sleep medications] will *not* cure the
[sleep disturbances], and will instead aggravate the already tense
emotional turmoil in humans here on terra.

If I find any pertinent info in the new report, I will be sure to relay it here.

edit to add quote from old ALTA report.

I nearly forgot! I have to quickly address this dream I had the other night. I am completely serious as I tell you this!

I was in what seemed to be a barn (maybe). There was all sorts of food being stored in there. My dogs and I were doing something with what I think was a giant sausage. By giant I mean this thing was the size of an anaconda, except it was a sausage. (I'm not even a fan of sausage at all....this had something to do with one of my dogs though; no clue really). All of a sudden, all the vegetables and fruits began falling from shelves. They came to life and began throwing things at me; other pieces of fruit, canned goods, etc. Obviously, this was much more comical than it was scary.....definitely weird! In any case, I woke up with the distinct feeling that I should remove all meat from my diet.

I would have written this off as just another one of my peculiar (and monumentally entertaining) dreams but I really felt like I was supposed to be coming away with a message, which I did: NO MORE MEAT. Now this is particularly troubling to me because I don't eat much meat as it is but I cannot imagine removing it from my diet completely. Of course, I would if I had no choice but it would be extremely difficult to do of my own volition. I eat mostly chicken and veggies but from time to time I crave a burger or a steak. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to break some cosmic code by not adhearing to what I was 'told'.

Any thoughts?

In the channelings I read, there is more and more talk of omitting animal products from our diets. For the coming ascension as our bodies/DNA evolve, we no longer should be ingesting these foodstuffs. We are apparently ascending into crystal bodies from carbon based bodies... this I thought was interesting, as previously I had read that we will not ascend with our bodies...

They say the animals agreed to support us long ago, and now that agreement is coming to a close. Fifth dimensional beings do not consume animal products.

I hope you are all doing well and trying to get a bit of sleep as we progress. I am still sleeping like a log and having interesting dreams!

Jackie, your dreams are sooo interesting! The veggies are really speaking to you
I don't think I mentioned that we share the same first name

Hello Hello! Thank you for the well wishes! I hope all is going well in your camp! I'm gradually reducing the animal products from my diet, albeit not very happily just yet....

I had a real serious freak out last night. It felt like a message (and NOT a good one). I really don't know what's going on with me but everytime I start to feel a bit more positive, something crazy happens.....

I'm going to keep this short because I'm still pretty disturbed. I'm not sure of the exact context of the dream but I was speaking to a dead teenager (male). We weren't speaking in words though and I was having difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me. In the dream I started yelling at him to give me words......I remember saying "two words, just give me two words!" At that point, something started coming out of his mouth. It was a small piece of paper with two words writtin on it. Those words were "It's coming". As I read the words, he spoke them.......and the vibe.....OMG, it was sooooooooooo bad. I woke up in such a state, naturally taking forever to get back to bed.

Anyway, it's not always fun being in my head. Especially the bed-time version. I don't know if I'm just suffering from anxiety at this point or if I'm really being given some sort of message with all of this weirdness. Some days I really wish I was ignorant.

I've noticed something else during my dreams. I never had this happen until recently, at least that I'm aware of.....but I am actually thinking things through in my dreams, like I feel my mind in action, but it's completely different than 'normal thinking'. I'm guessing it has something to do with existing on other dimensions maybe. Not sure on that! It usually winds up waking me once I realize that I'm doing it. It's a difficult sensation to describe but I can tell you it's a strange one!

Any one else? It's getting really lonesome around here.....lol

It's easier than you think. I used to love meat but haven't eaten it since the mid--1990s. Didn't seem moral.
Anyway, I just stopped "cold turkey" and had no problems at all.
Sure I craved meat from time to time, but when I thought what was involved in it, the craving went away in no time. It was just "mental" craving anyway, not a physical thing. Humans do NOT "need" meat.

Good luck!

Well

Let me tell you what is hilarious.

A thread filled with posts that go like this...

"Yeah I'm having difficulty sleeping too!... I quit drinking, smoking, etc and now am having trouble sleeping... wierd!"

No that's pretty typical for withdrawal symptoms.

If you have changed your eating, drinking, or smoking habits to a "more healthier" practice, then you're probably going to get some crappy sleep for a good month, maybe two.

And if you are coming down off of anti-depressants or other drugs (legal or not) you will likely have very vivid and nightmarish dreams.

That said... I'm still drinking and smoking and eating like I have for the past year or so (although I've switched to cheaper beers), and because of my habits I don't typically dream a whole lot. However for the past two weeks I have dreamed every night.. vividly.

So... maybe there is something goin on other than a bunch of people in withdrawal.
