As someone pointed out above, I think it linked to the age of pisces or aquarius.

If you look at the circles encircling the fish, they follow a pattern in that they start off small and get increasingly bigger until they become small again and the cycle repeats.

I think it represents the cycle of the ages and civilisations.

Adding to the nature theme recently.

This circle was reported by passers-by driving along the A361, from where the circle is clearly visible. As we were flying to photograph the recent Chiseldon formation, we took the opportunity to check the reports out. The formation appears to be 250-300ft in diameter.

I will be anxious to see the Circle that appears between Aug 15-18 this is usually the most intricate Circle of the year. Nature theme is my bet.Fishy Crop Circle

It's showing evolution cycles ......The small circle gets bigger until the end of that perticular cycle , and then another one starts over. They are telling us we don't ever really die, we just re-cycle through lives and continue to further our race if we are lucky enough.

Love the fish symbols as I am a pieces so it's nice to be represented every know and then.......

Maybe they are from a decendent of fish humanoid....Could explain the skin of so called greys and other aliens and maybe why dolphins are soo damn smart.

You guys ever stop to think that insted of UFO's that it is the elite dropping clues to us?

Like how they give us clues and hints through music and movies, they also must warn us of other things, but they make it difficult to understand by telling us through crop circles. The answers are literally right in front of us but we are blind to decipher them...

Still have no clue as to what they all mean but I don't doubt they are hints...

that crop circle liiks extremely "fishy" to me as well, for different reasons.

why would extraterrestrials represent fish the exact same way western culture does?

the tremendous variety of interpretations of the real world in two dimensions across human cultures already makes me think the way they interpret and represent a fish would be completely unintelligible to us.

just take a look at mayan art.

Because they are smarter than us so they dumb it down to something we would recognize..

You wouldn't try to communicate to a mexican in russian would you?

If we always think it only means one thing then we will never find the answer. IT has many meanings and they are all connected......That is why these symbols are truly great because they incorporate more information then we know in them......

We just don't understand it yet........

That is our ( Humans ) problems with trying to figure things out. WE think so exact adn simple......We always think it either has to mean this or that when it can mean both plus about another 15 things all rolled in one.....

IF " they " were communicating , they would try to fit in as much info as possible....

Has anyone ever tried to take a closer look at these and see if they leave some kind of writing that is soo small we can't see it from the arial views of these....

Like a message to tell us how to decipher what it is we are seeing..

Just watched SG-1 episode " Message in a bottle" yesterday and it reminded me of this kind of.....

We really would make great pets wouldn't we? The way most people think....hehe

But wait...there is another crop circle no one has mentioned that proceeded all the crop circles that are being talked about as being linked somehow:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/489d76bd9aaa.jpg[/atsimg]

Note the 21 circles (the middle can be seen as 3 concentric circles) and the 7 lines.

Found this out at: dailymail.c o.uk

Also, a poster, YouAreDreaming, brought up another missed circle: seen here. This was noticed on June 2nd.

Taking the above missed crops into consideration we have, in order (I believe), the crops that have turned up within just a week and even days of each other:

Yin Yang symbol
Jellyfish
Dragonfly
Bird?or Dolphin? (assumed patterns according to YouAreDreaming)
Fish

All within the same area.

This circle looks man made to me, the others have at least been unique however I notice a steadydrop in the quality of the circles themselves, I think they are all trying to get the attention of the first one.

So far, it seems like all circles are fake, unless somehow, all alien craft have developned a rotating strut system that makes all the vegetable matter all fall over i itsside with a distinctive swirl pattern inside the low spots.

Meanings of all reference crop circles:

Yin Yang meaning: Yin and Yang theory is one of the building blocks of Feng Shui. They are the primordial energies of the universe and are opposite in nature. Both of them are deeply interconnected and refer to Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine) energies. They are visible in all the natural phenomenon of the earth. It states that everything in the universe is changing, transforming from one state to the other, in order to maintain a balance throughout.

Jellyfish: The transparency of the jellyfish teaches the inner source within each of us. We have an enormous amount of power within us to draw upon. We can turn on the light even in the depths of darkness through the wisdom the jellyfish. It often shows up just when you believe there is no hope left.

Dragonfly: The dragonfly symbolizes going past self-created illusions that limit our growing and changing. Dragonflies are a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity. Dragonflies are reminders that we are light and can reflect the light in powerful ways if we choose to do so. "Let there be light" is the divine prompting to use the creative imagination as a force within your life. They help you to see through your illusions and allow your own light to shine in a new vision.

Bird: (I used the hawk because it seems to fit into the theme.) The hawk is symbolic of the primal life force. They remind us of the hunter and the hunted and the circle of life. They are a reminder to not take anything for granted, to savor every moment, and to be thankful that we are alive. ( I didn’t include the dolphin as it doesn’t really seem to fit the theme/message)

Fish (according to culture. One poster already mentioned this but I will include it for the big picture.): The fish was sacred to the Greco-Roman mythology, where it held symbolic meaning of change and transformation.

In ancient Eastern Indian mythology, the fish is a symbol of transformation and creation.

In Norse and ancient European cultures, the fish had symbolic meanings of adaptability, determination, and the flow of life.
(other meanings seem to do with fertility which can also represent the circle of life)

Taking all this into consideration, I think someone is trying to tell us something. Whether it be human or alien, we should really take heed.

A witness, several years ago, described how a huge air-pillar appeared from "somewhere above"(It was night-time, so he couldn't see where it came from) with loud thunder, and started making patterns in the field.

So maybe, eh?

Thats a good point.
I guess my idea that they were going to represent earth, air, fire and water was wrong.

But like a earlier post said "7" lots of refrence to the number 7

Maybe they're smart enough to access the internet.

Or maybe they're idiots like us and can't, so they came up with the same stupid thing we did, who knows.

#, maybe the owner of the crop did it to get publicity.

Edit: Heh, had a funny thought, what if all the crop circles are us, but there really are aliens up there... and they're all looking down like.. wow these stupid humans just love to do a lot of work to make designs.

uuuuuh ya....and you're an authority on interpretive crop circles how exactly? Don't you all love how every freaking poster here is an armchair authority. It's all subjective..there's no meaning as an exact science to these images.

I have been dying to ask this question for awhile now...

....are these crop circles communications or warnings as such....and if they are, have they ever in the past warned of something that did happen and indeed made an impact on humanity??

If it hasn't, why spend so much energy on trying to decifer them?

I mean, are there any advantages what so ever in decifering these crop circles correctly, if not, why all the fuss?

Well, this thread proves that people are going to read whatever they want into it. Whoever made it could do just about anything and people would derive somekind of meaning out of it.

It could be any number, and people will find meaning in them.

Personally, if they have the technology to travel in space, but lack the ability to make perfect geometric shapes, or communicate in a better way then I am sorely disappointed.

A friend of mine always says about Christians - it's not Jesus I have a problem with, it's his fans. I'm pretty much getting that way with the alien topic as well. It's not aliens I have a problem with, and it's not a belief in life out there that I have a problem with, it's the fans and ridiculous claims that drive me nuts.

Can we please start using a bit of critical thinking? I think it's a pretty safe bet there is life out there. I'd say the chances are pretty high that they have visit or do visit from time to time even. But is there any chance that maybe we can stop attributing our own biases and what we want to them be to it all? I'm guessing no, but I can dream can't I?

There are 8 or 9 possibly 10 planets around the sun depending on your beliefs about Pluto and Eris. But there are this many planets around one star. There are trillions of stars in this one galaxy and trillions of stars in trillions of galaxies you can bet your ass there's alien life out there

This one reminds me more of the weather pattern symbol for hurricanes we use on weather maps.
I see the ying-yang etc. but...
Who knows.....?
Makes more sense to me if we could find out the long. lat. of these circles and plug them into google earth and see if we can see pictures from the day before these were made and the next morning and maybe even night...The only real way to know is if we get some live footage of these things being made at night to know for sure...
