What you are seeing is obviously some form of sheeting that the peice may have been transported on/in.

It is not part of the wreckage itself.

According to Sky News.. 42 bodies have now been recovered.

This might be a stupid question, but as i'm not a plane fanatic i'll ask anyway.

Is that a whole load of rust on the above plane debris? The brown stuff at the bottom?

I ask because whilst i know metal can rust after contact with water, does it rust this quick?

What would the plane be made of? Would it even rust?

Is it usual for planes to fly with rusty parts?

CX.

To me seem more like some kind of industrial glue.

According to Globo (Brazilian media), they have found 41 bodies up to yesterday, no bodies were found today.

The search will last at least until the 19th, but it may be extended.

All bodies, even those found by the French navy, are sent back to Brazil, while all objects and aeroplane debris are sent to France.

French experts will help identify the bodies through fingerprints, tattoos, birth marks, etc., while DNA test will only for those that can not be identified that way .

Just when does Air France believe the public and relatives will find out the seat assignments of the 50 victims?
